South of Midnight Chapter 13 has 3 collectibles: 2 Readables, and 1 Storybook. The Storybook is automatically collected as you progress through the story, but you’ll need to locate the 3 Readables yourself. Below is a walkthrough to help you find them.

1/2 – Run, Rabbit, Run
2/2 – Eternally She Waits

Hazel finds herself in front of the intact Mobile Home where all began in Chapter 1. Enter the Mobile Home and pack Hazel’s Box. Then, pack Lacey’s box on the kitchen counter.

After the cutscene where Lacey comes home, go to the end of the road and clear the branches blocking the way. Then, head back to the house and run to the car, only to see the house swept away again.

After the cutscene, Hazel has to face off with the Haints again. Destroy the Stigma to Continue.

At the “home stage”, look over across from the playground to see a Floof.

There is another Floof between the two houses.

With the Floof collected, head to the exit with the red light. Follow the corridor to the door at the other end, where Hazel finds herself in the Town of the Tapestry again – a chasing sequence. After that, Hazel finds herself on stage again, but a different set.

1/2 – Run, Rabbit, Run – Readables Collectible in South of Midnight

Here, on the second set, look for the area with the workbench. Readables collectible 1/2 is on top of it.

Push the cart in front of the house to climb onto it and reach the stage. Use the lever here to activate three grapples that lead to the red brick tower. Swing across to enter the tower. After going through the door, another chase sequence will begin.

2/2 – Eternally She Waits – Readables Collectible

What follows is yet another set on a weird stage. The last Readables collectible can be found on the table.

To exit, break the planks blocking the door near the table. Follow the path behind the stage and go through the gap to reach the high exit. Find a passage for Crouton, destroy the barriers, and send Crouton through. There’s a lever up high—just follow the ramp to reach it. Activating the lever will lower the exit, allowing Hazel to pass through.

Here’s the final boss fight with Kooshma. Kooshma has 4 health bars, and the first two bars have two phases. In the first phase, you’ll need to dodge Kooshma’s attacks. In the second phase, the Haints join the fight. Each Haint you unravel will lower Kooshma’s health bars. Once you’ve reduced the health bars to two, Hazel will face Kooshma alone without her mother. Keep dodging Kooshma’s attacks until Hazel is free.

In this short parkour section, you’ll need to use your skills to reach the next fighting zone. This time, the fight begins immediately with the Haints. After defeating them and bringing Kooshma down to just one health bar, Hazel gets separated again. She must dodge Kooshma’s attacks and parkour her way to the final fighting zone, where you can finally defeat Kooshma.
