In this guide, we will walk you through the various steps you need to take to locate all the collectibles in this challenging part of the game – The Observatory Understructure at Koboh. Whether you are a seasoned gamer or a newbie to the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor game, our guide is easy to follow with various maps and screenshots, and it will help you navigate through the game.
The Observatory Understructure is the bottom part of the Mountain Observatory at Koboh. In the story, there is a lot of parkouring going on to get to the next level up, the DIAGNOSTICS CORRIDOR. The Observatory Understructure also provides a shortcut with a long elevator down to the RIFT PASSAGE, which is adjacent to BASALT RIFT.
There are a total of 6 collectibles here – 2 Chests, 2 Databanks, 2 Treasures. Here’s where they are, working the way up from bottom to the top.

HOW TO GET ALL COLLECTIBLES?
Best starting point to get all collectibles in one sweep from bottom to top is the Observatory Understructure Meditation Point. That’s where I start until I collected them all at the top.
1 – DATABANK ENTRY #109
Title: Erratic Dust
From the Observatory Understructure Meditation Point, go downstairs and scan the big pile of black Koboh Matter. Most of you have already picked this up when going through the story. It’s just hard to miss.
2 – TREASURE 1 OF 2
Go up to the Meditation Point and take the exit to get outside. There is a grapple balloon that will take you further up but don’t do that yet. Instead, go right and climb up the metal grate to get to a terrace.
Walk to the end and you can pick up this Treasure on the floor, next to the antenna.
3 – TREASURE 2 OF 2
Now grapple onto the balloons and work yourself up one level until you reach the big platform with the raiders. Defeat them and go higher up. The target location is the red circle in the screenshot below.
There is a Scavenger Droid at the top of the entrance door. Use the white box in the way to get up there and destroy the droid. It will drop the Treasure item. If the droid escapes, rest at the Meditation Point and come back again.
4 – DATABANK ENTRY #107
Title: Forfeit your Lives
Jump down, walk past the elevator door to the other side, where the wall-run is. In the story, the wall-run is at the bottom and you can wall-run higher up, where the Battle Droids are / were. But if you’ve done the story part, the wall-run is up. To get up there anyway, climb up through the white box to the left. Then you can jump and pull yourself up.
Now you can do the wall-run / metal grate parkour until you’re up on the next level.
Defeat the droids up here and turn left. There is an Echo collectible on the floor.
5 – CHEST 1 OF 2
Contains: Stim
Next, work your way another level up by using the rotating grapple points and the grate wall with the grapple on the other side.
At the top, there is a room with a broken door. Squeeze through it. There is a grapple balloon dispenser in here. Throw one out of the open window.
Use this balloon to reach the second floor of this same room. There’s the chest.
6 – CHEST 2 OF 2
Contains: Grip – Showdown
Get back down to the ground floor of the room with the last chest, exit it through the gap and go straight ahead through the elevator room to the other side. Turn right and go to the door that can only be opened from the other side.
You can drop down to the left of the door and jump through an opening below.
From here you can now reach the Chest by doing the two wall-runs and jump in at the other side.
Do the wall-runs again to get back and open the door from the other side.
