In the Lost Steppe region of Toshara in Star Wars Outlaws, there are 25 Treasures to discover. Initially labeled as “Undiscovered Treasures,” they gain specific names once you find their locations. These names will then appear in the top left corner of the in-game map, showing how much Treasure can be found there. Some areas may have more than two Treasure names. In the map below, I’ve highlighted the “Treasure Hotspots” where you can find these Treasures. The numbers on the map match the order in this guide. I’ll lead you from the top left corner of “The Lost Steppe” to the final tip on the right, explaining how to locate and collect each Treasure.
For “Smuggler Caches,” it’s best to use a holotracker to find them. Follow the questline “Jet Kordo’s Legacy,” which you can begin on the first planet after Toshara.
For certain treasures, you’ll need the “Bolt” upgrade for the blaster. Make sure to follow the main quest until you obtain it before starting the treasure hunt in “The Lost Steppe.”

1. Smuggler Cache 88
Start at “Elario’s Stash” by the river. Head west along the riverbank, walk through the water, and follow the beeping of the Holotracker to locate it on a small beach.
Treasure Contains:
Valuables and Materials
2. Elario’s Stash
Elario’s Stash is located north of the “Lost Steppe,” right by the river. You can actually follow the road to reach it this time. The treasure is at the back of the round platform.
Treasure Contains:
Credits
3. A Desolate Cave
The northeast of “The Lost Steppe” resembles the edge of the world map and is hard to access. However, keep an eye out for mudslides on the eastern side, near the border. You can use the speeder to reach this area. Here, you’ll encounter a blocked cave. Shoot it with “Bolt” to open it. The treasure is inside the Desolate Cave.
Treasure Contains:
Shadow Order Paint Job – Speeder Paint Job
4. Hutt Cartell Store House
The Hutt Cartell Store House sits just southwest of Jaunta’s Hope Settlement. It’s an unguarded building with a broken door. To gain entry, you’ll need to modify your blaster to shoot Ion Bursts, a task assigned in the Main Quest: New Tricks. Survey the surroundings to locate the power source for the door, which is concealed behind the barred window. Activate it by shooting the power core to charge it. Move swiftly into the building as the charge won’t last long. Inside awaits the Treasure Chest.
Treasure Contains:
Tracking Transponder
5. Pyke Stockroom
Located in the western region of the Toshara map, the Pyke Stockroom serves as an Outpost within the Pyke Syndicate’s territory in the Lost Steppe’s northern expanse. This fortified outpost boasts a heavy guard presence, with its main entrance securely locked. It’s crucial to note that any attempt to breach the entrance unauthorized would result in a negative impact on your reputation with the Pykes.
To gain access to the Treasure inside the Outpost’s building, your task is to divert the guards stationed in front of the door. You can achieve this by either creating a distraction to allow Kay to pick the lock and enter discreetly or by subduing the guards silently.
Treasure Contains:
Materials
6. Amberine Cave
The Amberine Cave is located in the western part of the Lost Steppe region. You will pass by the cave on your way to meet your contact for the “Sabotage” Network Quest.
To reach your destination, follow the road leading to the mountain at the edge of the game’s map. You’ll come across a climbable wall at the end of the road. Climb the wall and use an overhead grapple to continue. The entrance to Amberine Cave is blocked by thick rock, so you’ll need the “Bolt” upgrade for Kay’s blaster. Once you have it, you can shoot open the entrance and access the container inside.
Treasure Contains:
Toshara Ruffian Pants
7. Pyke Guardhouse
The Pyke Guardhouse is located in the Pyke Syndicate region, just northeast of the Pyke Poaching Station. You can sneak into the building to loot the container inside.

The Pyke Poaching Station is in the south of the Lost Steppe. It holds 3 Treasures and they are all in the “Restricted Area” at the top of the hill, close to the Trailblazer Landing Pad.
8.1 Storage Room
When you arrive at Pyke Poaching Station from the Landing Pad, you’ll see a merchant on your right, a guarded entrance to a facility on your left, and a building straight ahead. This building is the Storage Room, which has two locked entrances. Inside, you’ll find a Pyke guard and a Container Chest filled with treasure.
Treasure Contains:
Materials
8.2 Operations Building
The next Treasure collectible is located in the Operations Building, which is the large round building on the map. To enter, you’ll need the “Operations Building Keycard” for the front door, or you can pick the lock on the back door near the cliff.
To get the “Operations Building Keycard,” you can either take it from a guard in the “Restricted Area” or find it on a table in the house between the landing pad and the Operations Building. The Treasure Container is located in one of the rooms inside the Operations Building.
This is the same building used for the “Sabotage” Network Quest related to the Hutt Cartel.
Treasure Contains:
Begamor Ruffian Belt – Gear
8.3 Nearby Building
The building located between the Operations Building and the Landing pad contains the last Treasure Chest. The entrance is locked and requires a data spike to open.
Treasure Contains:
H-M Engine Power Core – Speeder Engine
9. Smuggler Cache 20
Smuggler Cache 20 is located southeast of Pyke Poaching Station, right by the cliff.
Treasure Contains:
Credits and Materials
10. Smuggler Cache 22
Southeast of Pyke Poaching Station, near the border of Southern Falls, you’ll find a campfire with smoke. Close by, there’s a cave that contains Smuggler Cache 22.
Treasure Contains:
Valuables and Materials
11. Gushiro Canyon – Nix Treasure
At the location Gushiro Canyon Nix will chirp and run off, indicating a Nix Treasure location nearby.
Nix will run ahead, always waiting at certain points for you to catch up. Follow him by climbing and swinging to the other side of this canyon. A big slide down will mark the end, where you see him digging. Help him to retrieve the treasure.
Treasure Contains:
Secret Amulet
12. Hermit’s Hollow
Hermit’s Hollow is in the east of the Pyke’s region within “The Lost Steppe”. Look for a blocked cave and shoot it open with “Bolt” on your blaster. The chest is inside the cave.
Treasure Contains:
Weathered Finish – Trailblazer Paint
13. Smuggler Cache 52
After finding the first Vault on Toshara in the “Jet Kordo’s Legacy” Quest Line, Kay can follow the beeping of the Holotracker from near the vault entrance to this smuggler cache treasure. This is part of the “Hidden Smuggler Caches” Intel Quest. One hint to follow is the metal grids on the paths’ flooring.
14. Typhon’s Rock (Mountain)
Typhon’s Rock is located at the northwestern tip of “The Steppes.” It offers several climbing spots and features a merchant with a “Mysterious Ship.” The standout attraction at Typhon’s Rock is a large wind tunnel.
There are two treasure locations at Typhon’s Rock. One is a Smuggler Cache situated near the merchant outside of Typhon’s Rock. The other is located deeper inside the mountain at “Flyer Ridge,” an old campsite where you’ll find two treasures.
14.1 – Smuggler Cache 18
Go to the location marked on the map in the screenshot below to begin your ascent.
Smuggler’s Cache is not at the big wind tunnel. Instead, look for the crashed Tie Fighter and one of its burnt wings in the area. Then search the southeastern wall for a cave opening. The Smuggler Cache is there.
Treasure Contains:
Materials
14.2 Flyer Ridge
Flyer Ridge is an abandoned campsite located deep within “Typhon’s Rock.” To access it, you’ll need the “Bolt” ability for Kay’s Blaster.
The access point is located in a pit at the center of the large wind tunnel. From there, you can go down to Flyer Ridge. If you’re having trouble getting there, check out the walkthrough for Key Part Intel: BT-009S Fastshot Trigger. I created a step-by-step guide for this Treasure Chest.
14.2.1 Flyer Ridge Main Camp
When you use the cargo elevator to get to the main camp, stay to the left and look around. The chest is located right there.
Treasure Contains:
Ancient Hunter Carving – Major Charm
14.2.2 Flyer Ridge Main Camp Ledge
Take the path through the main camp to reach a ledge you can climb. The second treasure chest is located there.
Treasure Contains:
BT009S – Fastshot Trigger
15. Typhon’s Rock (Location)
The Typhon’s Rock Treasure isn’t on the main Typhon’s Rock mountain; it’s actually located southeast of it. Head to the southeast area and look for the rock formation in the screenshot below. Climb up and jump across the rocks. At the end, you’ll find a grapple point log that allows you to climb down and collect the Treasure.
Treasure Contains:
Tooka Paw – Minor Charm
16. Mountain Hideout
The Mountain hideout is in the southeast of Typhon’s Rock, high in the mountain. To get there you have to use your speeder and jump over a cliff using one of those red ramps that are spread all around Toshara. The way to get to Mountain Hideout is part of the Quest Intel: Smuggler’s Hideout. The Key Part Intel: HD05-G Circuit is about retrieving this Treasure at Mountain Hideout.
Once you are at the Mountain Hideout, have a look around. There are 3 propellers that have to be active to power up the only available door. You will see three lamps above the door. The Goal is to turn them from red to green by activating the propellers. Then you can enter the room behind the door where the Treasure is.
You need to reactivate one propeller to access the Mountain Hideout. Send Nix back to the controls to turn it on. Scan the area and follow the power cables. At the base of the Mountain Hideout, there’s a small propeller blocked by a rock. Use the “Bolt” blaster to destroy the rock and get it working again. The third propeller is larger and has two levers. You and Nix need to press them at the same time. Nix can only hold down the lever for a brief moment, so practice the timing to ensure you pull the levers in sync.
With all three propellers now working, Kay can enter the room and take the treasure from the chest.
Treasure Contains:
HD05-G Circuit
17. Smuggler Cache 39
Go to the southeastern tip of “The Lost Steppe.” You’ll find a climbing spot at this location:
At the top, continue climbing a long wall. From this high point, you can spot a grapple point to the right and a gap in the mountain wall that leads to a dark cave. There are some valuables at the entrance, but if you climb further into the cave, you’ll discover the Smuggler cache.
Treasure Contains:
Credits and Materials
18. Shipjacker Workshop
The Shipjacker workshop is in the very west of “The Lost Steppe”, just by the border to the “Southern Falls”. The Key Part Intel: Codebreaker Chip will lead you here. The backdoor access is at the location on the map shown in the screenshot below. From here you can climb up and inside the Shipjacker Workshop.
18.1 Behind the Energy Barrier – top floor
In the Shipjacker Workshop, head to the roof of the round building in the center. There, you can press a button. A box will move along a rail from the Energy Barrier to your location. Ask Nix to press the button again, but this time, have him hold onto the box as it travels. This will take you to the Energy Barrier area. Once there, instruct Nix to keep the shutter next to the barrier open so Kay can shoot the power core. With the shield down, you’ll gain access to the Treasure Chest behind it.
Treasure Contains:
Shipjacker Fuel – Trailblazer Fuel
18.2 First Floor Recreational Area
On the first floor of the Shipjacker workshop, there is a visible treasure box in the recreational area.
Treasure Contains:
Materials
18.3 Energy Barrier Passage
In the same room as the previous Treasure Box, there’s a passage blocked by an energy barrier. To get through, slice the panel next to the barrier and lower it to enter the room. Inside, you’ll find the chest.
Treasure Contains:
Code Breaker Chip
18.4 Behind the Rock Wall
At the top of the workshop, there’s a wall you can break down if you have the “Bolt” upgrade for your blaster. Shoot the wall to get in and open the container.
Treasure Contains:
A-A5 Paint Job – Speeder Paint Job
