1. Mos Algo

The Mos Algo mine is located in the northern part of the Western Dune Sea and contains four treasure chests waiting to be discovered. You may recall this location as the site of the shootout with the imperials that occurred after leaving Jabba’s Palace in the story. Take some time to explore the ruins before heading up to the mine. There is a house that can be accessed by shooting the power core at the back. Inside, you’ll find the Mine Supply Room Keycard, which is essential for accessing the second treasure chest outlined in this guide.

1.1 Collapsed Mine

To enter Mos Algo, start from the northern official road on the in-game map. Proceed through the housing ruins until you reach a collapsed mine where the mining carts are still visible. Use the “Power” setting to blast the rocks at the entrance, and then loot the treasure chest hidden behind.

1.2 Mine Supply Room

Enter the Mine and proceed down the left corridor. In the next room, you’ll need to shoot a couple of rocks using the “Power” setting to continue on this path. It’s dark, and Kay suggests turning on the power. Look for a cable that runs to the far end of this dim corridor. You’ll find a power core behind a shutter; instruct Nix to open it while you shoot it with the “Ion” setting. Then, head back to the former dark corridor and interact with the opener to use the “Mine Supply Room Keycard” that you previously collected from the ruins outside. Inside the Mine Supply Room, you’ll discover a chest.

Now head down to the main mine. This is the area of the Lost Sandcrawler, this is the next point in this guide.

1.3 After the Lost Sandcrawler

After leaving the Sandcrawler, turn left onto the platform and look for a cable to scan. Restore power using the lever and wait for the turbo-lift to arrive. Once inside the lift, ride it up to where the Algo Mine is located. You will also trigger a Smuggler Cache, which can be found in the valley below; we’ll tackle that shortly. Continue along the path and ascend, then swing into a passage where the next treasure chest awaits right after the swing. Alternatively, you can reach this chest by climbing up from the Landing Pad.

1.4 East from the Landing Pad

From the Landing Pad at Mas Algo, head east and search for a grapple point situated high on the mountain. Utilize it to ascend to this area of the mine.

3. Lost Sandcrawler

Enter Mos Algo through the main entrance and proceed to the back of the primary mining corridor. There, use “Power” to shoot a rock, allowing you to squeeze into a gap and access the mine. Once inside, you’ll spot the Sandcrawler ahead. Climb the wall to your left and leap onto the metal platform on the opposite side. Follow the platform to its end, where you can swing to the other side using an overhead grapple, then return to the lower platform. Continue along the path ahead until you reach a rippled wall that you can climb on the left. In the passage indicated by the arrow in the screenshot below, you’ll find a rock that must be shot in order to enter the room.

2.2. Rock Room

Exit the Treasure Room and proceed to the right at the exit. Watch for yellow bars descending from the broken platform. At the end of this path, you’ll spot the Sandcrawler on your left, while Kay can explore a dark passage inside a nearby structure. Take a moment to scan the area and observe something in the adjacent room. You can shoot a power core through the window here. Then, quickly send Nix to press the door button. If you need additional time for Nix to finish the task, feel free to continue shooting the power core.

This will unlock the door, allowing you to pass through to the other side. There, you’ll encounter another locked door, but a gap leading to the adjacent room reveals a shutter containing a power core. Instruct Nix to open the shutter and target the power core using the Ion setting to gain access to the next room. Once inside, fire at the floor with the “Power” setting. Jump down into the hole and follow the path to reach the base of the Sandcrawler. Between the tracks, you’ll find the second Treasure Chest.
