1. Mos Algo – 4 Treasures and the Mine Supply Room Keycard

Mos Algo is in the north of the Western Dune Sea, right on the border to the North Jundland Wastes. The old mine holds four treasure chests, and you may remember it from the Imperial shootout after you leave Jabba’s Palace in the story. Before you head up to the mine, explore the ruins. One house opens when you shoot the power core at the back, and inside you find the Mine Supply Room Keycard you need for treasure 1.2.

1.1 Collapsed Mine

Enter Mos Algo from the official road in the north on the in-game map. Go through the ruined houses until you reach a collapsed mine with mining carts still in place. Use Bolt to blast the rocks at the entrance, then loot the chest behind them.

1.2 Mine Supply Room – Pit Droid Head Trophy

Enter the mine and take the left corridor. In the next room, blast a couple of rocks with Bolt to continue. The corridor beyond is dark, and Kay suggests turning the power on. Follow the cable to the far end of the dim corridor, where a power core sits behind a shutter. Send Nix to open the shutter and shoot the core with the Ion setting. Head back to the corridor and use the Mine Supply Room Keycard from the ruins on the door. The chest is inside the Mine Supply Room.

Now head down into the main mine. This is the Lost Sandcrawler area, number 3 in this guide. Collect both Sandcrawler treasures there first, then come back for treasure 1.3.

1.3 After the Lost Sandcrawler

After you leave the Sandcrawler, turn left onto the platform and scan the cable. Restore power with the lever and wait for the turbolift. Ride it up to the Mos Algo mine area. This also marks Smuggler Cache 13 in the valley below, which is number 2. Follow the path up and swing into a passage. The chest is right after the swing. You can also reach it by climbing up from the landing pad.

1.4 East of the Landing Pad

From the Mos Algo landing pad, head east and look for a grapple point high up on the mountain. Use it to climb up to this part of the mine.

The chest sits on top of the round platform above. Go around to the other side, where you can climb a metal frame. At the top, swing over to the round platform and loot the chest.

2. Smuggler Cache 13

At the Mos Algo landing zone, use the landing pad grapple to drop down and head south into the valley with the mining carts. At the far end of the cart track, you find a collapsed tunnel with the Smuggler Cache inside. For how smuggler caches and the holotracker work, see Hidden Smuggler Caches.

3. Lost Sandcrawler – 2 Treasures

Enter Mos Algo through the main entrance and go to the back of the main mining corridor. Use Bolt on the rock there and squeeze through the gap into the mine. You’ll spot the Sandcrawler ahead. Climb the wall on your left and jump onto the metal platform on the other side. Follow the platform to its end, swing across with the overhead grapple, then drop back to the lower platform. Keep going until you reach a rippled wall on your left that you can climb. In the passage marked by the arrow below, shoot the rock to get into the room.

3.1 Rock Room

The first Lost Sandcrawler treasure chest is inside this room.

3.2 Under the Sandcrawler – Tusken Amulet

Leave the Rock Room and turn right at the exit. Watch for the yellow bars hanging from the broken platform. At the end of the path, the Sandcrawler is on your left, and a dark passage leads into a nearby structure. Scan the area to spot the next room. Shoot the power core through the window, then quickly send Nix to press the door button. If Nix needs more time, keep shooting the power core.

The door unlocks and you can pass through. On the other side is another locked door, but a gap into the next room shows a shutter with a power core. Send Nix to open the shutter and shoot the core with the Ion setting to get into the next room. Inside, shoot the floor with Bolt, drop into the hole and follow the path down to the base of the Sandcrawler. The second treasure chest is between the tracks.

Use the turbolift on the platform next to the Sandcrawler to get back up, and continue with treasure 1.3.

4. Qadan’s Stash – Cobalt Stripe Finish

Qadan’s Stash is at the site of a crashed Imperial TIE Fighter, just south of Mos Algo. The chest is next to the wreckage.

5. Decrepit Starport – 2 Treasures

The Decrepit Starport in the northeast of the Western Dune Sea is a pirate hub. It is easy to spot on the in-game map by its large circle. It holds two treasures and is also the location of the Intel: Smuggler Camp.

5.1 Storage – Sandstorm Finish

Near the starport entrance, look to your left for a storage room behind metal bars. Open it with the Fusion Cutter to reach the chest inside. You get the Fusion Cutter as you progress the story.

5.2 Landing Platform – X-FP-C28 Ship Computer

The second chest is next to one of the ships in the middle of the landing platform.

6. Imperial Outpost 42 – Dune Sea Bunker

Imperial Outpost 42 is in the far east of the Western Dune Sea, just west of the Jawa Sandcrawler fast travel point near the Tatooine map border. It is inside a cave and is also the location of the Intel: Dune Sea Bunker. That intel starts from a datapad on a barrel near the Sona Plondu contract broker in Bestine. To get in, slice the data port at the entrance.
