1 – Smuggler Cache 88

Start at Elario’s Stash by the river. Head west along the riverbank and walk through the water. Follow the beeping of the Holotracker to the small beach where the cache is.

2 – Elario’s Stash

Elario’s Stash is in the north of The Lost Steppe, right by the river, and you can follow the road all the way there. The chest is at the back of the round platform.

The northern Lost Steppe by the river is also where you find the red speeder ramp into Boulder Forest. The Durafiber Fabric guide shows the ramp and the way up to the Crimson Dawn hideout.

3 – Desolate Cave

The northeast of The Lost Steppe sits at the edge of the world map and is hard to reach. Look for the mudslides on the eastern side near the border; you can drive up them with the speeder. There you find a blocked cave entrance. Shoot it open with Bolt, and the chest is inside.

4 – Hutt Cartel Storehouse Treasure

The Hutt Cartel Storehouse sits just southwest of Jaunta’s Hope. It is an unguarded building with a broken door. To get in, you need the Ion Burst for your blaster from the main quest New Tricks.

The power core for the door is behind the barred window. Shoot it to charge the door, then move quickly, because the charge doesn’t last long. The chest is inside.

5 – Pyke Stockroom

The Pyke Stockroom is a Pyke Syndicate outpost in the north of The Lost Steppe, in the western part of the Toshara map. It is heavily guarded, and the main entrance is locked. Breaking in unseen keeps your Pyke reputation safe; getting caught costs you reputation with them.

Deal with the guards in front of the door first. Either distract them so Kay can pick the lock, or take them down silently. The chest is inside the building, and Jinnjo’s Vault Keycard lies on the round coffee table in the same room. It is one of the three keycards for the Pyke Syndicate Vault in Mirogana.

6 – Amberine Cave

Amberine Cave is in the western part of The Lost Steppe. You pass it on the way to your contact in Sabotage.

Follow the road towards the mountain at the edge of the map. At the end of the road is a climbable wall. Climb it, then use the overhead grapple point to continue. Thick rock blocks the cave entrance; shoot it open with Bolt to reach the chest.

7 – Pyke Guardhouse

The Pyke Guardhouse is in Pyke Syndicate territory, just northeast of the Pyke Poaching Station. Sneak into the building and open the chest inside.

8 – Pyke Poaching Station Treasures – All 3 Chests

The Pyke Poaching Station is in the south of The Lost Steppe. All three chests are in the Restricted Area at the top of the hill, close to the Trailblazer landing pad.

8.1 Storage Room

Coming from the landing pad, the merchant is on your right and a guarded entrance is on your left. The Storage Room is the building straight ahead. It has two locked entrances, and inside are a Pyke guard and the chest.

8.2 Operations Building

The Operations Building is the large round building on the map, the same one you visit in Sabotage. You can open the front door with the Operations Building Keycard, or pick the lock on the back door near the cliff.

To get the keycard, take it from a guard in the Restricted Area. It also lies on a table in the house between the landing pad and the Operations Building. The chest is in one of the rooms inside. Gorak’s Vault Keycard for the Pyke Syndicate Vault is in this building too, on a desk in the main entrance area.

8.3 Nearby Building

The last chest is in the building between the Operations Building and the landing pad. The entrance is locked, so you need the data spike to open it.

9 – Smuggler Cache 20

Smuggler Cache 20 is southeast of the Pyke Poaching Station, right by the cliff.

10 – Smuggler Cache 22

Southeast of the Pyke Poaching Station, near the border to the Southern Falls, look for a campfire with rising smoke. The cave close by holds Smuggler Cache 22.

11 – Gushiro Canyon Nix Treasure – Secret Amulet

At Gushiro Canyon, Nix starts to chirp and runs off, which means a Nix Treasure is nearby.

Nix runs ahead and waits for you at certain points. Follow him by climbing and swinging to the other side of the canyon. A big slide marks the end, where you see him digging. Help him dig up the treasure.

12 – Hermit’s Hollow

Hermit’s Hollow is in the east of the Pyke territory in The Lost Steppe. Shoot the blocked cave entrance open with Bolt; the chest is inside.

13 – Smuggler Cache 52

This is the cache from the Hidden Smuggler Caches intel. You get it after Jet Kordo’s first vault on Toshara. Follow the Holotracker beeping from the vault entrance; the metal grids on the path floor point the way.

14 – Typhon’s Rock and Flyer Ridge

Typhon’s Rock is at the northwestern tip of The Lost Steppe. It has several climbing spots, a merchant with a Mysterious Ship and a large wind tunnel.

There are three treasures here: Smuggler Cache 18 near the merchant, and two chests at Flyer Ridge, an old campsite deep inside the mountain.

14.1 Smuggler Cache 18

Go to the spot marked on the map below to start your climb.

The cache is not at the big wind tunnel. Look for the crashed TIE Fighter and one of its burnt wings, then search the southeastern wall for a cave opening. The cache is inside.

14.2 Flyer Ridge

Flyer Ridge is an abandoned campsite deep inside Typhon’s Rock, and you need Bolt to get in. The way in is a pit in the middle of the large wind tunnel. The BT-009S Fastshot Trigger guide walks you through every step to the camp.

14.2.1 Flyer Ridge Main Camp

Take the cargo elevator down to the main camp and stay to the left. The chest is right there.

14.2.2 Flyer Ridge Main Camp Ledge

Follow the path through the main camp to a ledge you can climb. The second chest is up there.

15 – Typhon’s Rock Treasure – Tooka Paw

The Typhon’s Rock treasure is not on the mountain itself but southeast of it. Head there and look for the rock formation in the screenshot below. Climb up and jump across the rocks. At the end, a grapple point log lets you climb down to the chest.

16 – Mountain Hideout

The Mountain Hideout is high up in the mountain southeast of Typhon’s Rock. To reach it, use one of the red speeder ramps to jump over the cliff, which needs the Speed Boost from The Mechanic. The way there is part of Intel: Smuggler’s Hideout, and the chest is the goal of Key Part Intel: HD05-G Circuit.

Three propellers power the only door, and the three lamps above it show their status. Turn all three lamps from red to green to open the room with the chest:

Propeller 1: Send Nix to the controls to switch it back on.
Propeller 2: Scan the area and follow the power cables to the small propeller at the base of the hideout. A rock blocks it; destroy the rock with Bolt.
Propeller 3: The large one has two levers that you and Nix must pull at the same time. Nix only holds his lever briefly, so practice the timing.

With all three propellers running, Kay can enter the room and open the chest.

17 – Smuggler Cache 39

Go to the southeastern tip of The Lost Steppe. You find a climbing spot at this location:

At the top, climb the long wall. From this high point you can see a grapple point to the right and a gap in the mountain wall that leads into a dark cave. There are some valuables at the entrance; climb further into the cave to find the cache.

18 – Shipjacker Workshop Treasures – All 4 Chests

The Shipjacker Workshop is in the far east of The Lost Steppe, right on the border to the Southern Falls. Key Part Intel: Code Breaker Chip leads you here. The back door is at the spot marked on the map below; climb up from there into the workshop.

18.1 Behind the Energy Barrier – Top Floor

Go up to the roof of the round building in the center and press the button there. A box moves along a rail from the energy barrier to you. Have Nix press the button again, and hold on to the box as it travels back. At the energy barrier, have Nix keep the shutter next to it open so Kay can shoot the power core.

With the shield down, the chest is yours. Zafi’s Vault Keycard for the Crimson Dawn Vault in Mirogana City is in this room as well.

18.2 Recreational Area

A chest is out in the open in the recreational area.

18.3 Energy Barrier Passage

In the same room as the previous chest, an energy barrier blocks a passage. Slice the panel next to it with your Slicing Kit to lower the barrier, and the chest is in the room behind it.

18.4 Behind the Rock Wall

At the top of the workshop is a wall you can break with Bolt. Shoot it and open the chest behind it.
