Boulder Forest runs along the western edge of Toshara in Star Wars Outlaws, from the Imperial Comm Station in the north down to the shipwrecks in the south. You can collect 15 treasures at 11 locations here, and a few chests need the Slicing Kit, the Ion Blaster or the speeder’s Speed Boost. 1 – West Turbolaser – Ion Capacitor Charge
The West Turbolaser is a large cannon in the northwest of Boulder Forest, just southwest of the Imperial Comm Station. Climb the rippled walls on its south side to reach the door. To get inside, you need the Slicing Kit from The Slicer to slice the data port. Follow the ladder down to the Treasure Chest, which holds the Ion Capacitor Charge key part.
Treasure Contains:
Ion Capacitor Charge – Key Part
2 – Imperial Comm Station Treasures – All 4 Chests
The Imperial Comm Station sits at the northern edge of Boulder Forest and is the center of the Imperial presence in the area. It holds four Treasures. You also break into the station during the main quest The Wreck to steal the class eleven power core.
If you haven’t been here yet, walk past the AT-ST by the front gate on your left. A small cave leads to the left outer wall of the base, where you can slip in through a ventilation shaft.
Scan often and slice every computer and access point you find to switch off the station’s systems. You need this to open the vault.
2.1 Command Center
At the back of the ground floor, a room with a turbolift is blocked by a red energy barrier. Lower it by slicing the nearby data port or by destroying the power core of the barrier, then ride the turbolift up.
The turbolift takes you to the Command Center. The Treasure Chest is in the same room as the Imperial Terminal. Slice the terminal to receive Intel: Imperial Comm Station and set it to track. It highlights the steps you need to open the vault, where the last chest in the station waits.

2.2 Main Entrance
Take the turbolift down and head to the main entrance gate, which is protected by energy bars. The second Treasure Chest sits right beside the entrance, next to the AT-ST.
Treasure Contains:

2.3 Server Room
From the main entrance, head back toward the turbolift to the Command Center. The Server Room lies east of the turbolift and can be reached from the turbolift room and from the inner courtyard. It has three floors, and the Treasure Chest is at the bottom.
Treasure Contains:
Materials
2.4 Vault
Once you have followed the tracked intel, the vault opens. It is in the southwest corner of the base. Go inside and loot the chest.
Treasure Contains:
Blaster Recirculator – Blaster Component
Outlander Coating – Blaster Paint
3 – East Turbolaser
The East Turbolaser mirrors the western cannon in the northeast of Boulder Forest, just southeast of the Imperial Comm Station. You also need the Slicing Kit from The Slicer to get in. Once inside, the chest is right next to the Imperial Terminal on the ground floor, so no climbing down is needed.
Treasure Contains:
Materials
4 – Smuggler Cache 35
Smuggler Cache 35 is at the end of the long valley in the northeast, north of Imperial Outpost 62. The chest is buried in the dirt below the rock ramps at the top of the cliffs. Once you have the Holotracker from Hidden Smuggler Caches, it beeps faster as you get closer.

7 – Fallen Mound – Smoke Bomb Compressor
Fallen Mound is a mountain in the northwest of Boulder Forest, just south of the Imperial Comm Station. It is the most complex treasure spot in the region and holds two chests. You need the Ion Blaster from New Tricks, and the full walkthrough is in my Smoke Bomb Compressor guide.
To reach Fallen Mound, look for the wind tunnel at the spot marked on the map screenshot below. The wind is too strong for Kay on foot, but you can drive through on your speeder while boosting. The Speed Boost comes from The Mechanic.
Inside, make your way through three windy areas to reach the control room, where you find the first chest.
7.1 Control Room
Wind blows through this room as well. Look for the power core in the direction the wind comes from and shoot it with the Ion Blaster to stop the wind briefly, then head over to the control panel with the two levers.
One lever is for Kay and the other is for Nix. Time Nix’s command so that you both hold your levers at the same time. This can take a few tries, since Nix only holds his lever briefly. Doing it right opens the door to the two treasure chests. Shoot the power core again to cross back over and enter the newly opened room.
Treasure Contains:
Overgrown Amber Stone – Major Charm
7.2 Turbolift
Leave the room with the first chest through the other door. Walk down the corridor and take the turbolift up. The second treasure chest is waiting at the top.
Treasure Contains:
Smoke Bomb Compressor – Key Part
Once you have it, head out through the small door where your speeder is waiting and use the ramp to make your escape.
8 – Smuggler Cache 37 – Tosharan Treasure
Smuggler Cache 37 is the Tosharan Treasure. It sits at the western edge of the map, south of Fallen Mound, where the chest is half buried at the foot of a small hill above the abyss. This is where Intel: Tosharan Treasure ends, and the Holotracker beeps faster as you get close.
Treasure Contains:
Credits and Materials
9 – Runner’s Gate
Runner’s Gate looks like a spaceship crash site in the southwest of Boulder Forest. Scan the area and you spot a power core high up on the wreck, connected to a yellow door at ground level. Shoot the power core with the Ion Blaster from New Tricks to open the door. To get out again, shoot the power core inside the room.
Treasure Contains:
Black Feeler Wrappings – Nix Accessory
10 – Haska Circle
Haska Circle is the westernmost treasure location in Boulder Forest, southwest of Runner’s Gate. It is a circular pit full of scrapped ships, and the chest is at the largest piece of the wreck.
Treasure Contains:
Dud II Trinket – Vehicle Trinket
11 – Crimson Dawn Hideout – Durafiber Fabric
To reach the Crimson Dawn Hideout, head north from the Lost Steppe and look for the large red ramp by the river. The jump across the river needs the speeder’s Speed Boost from The Mechanic. Once you are across, climb up to the hideout. The box with the Durafiber Fabric is in the only room you can enter.
The Key Part Intel: Durafiber Fabric leads you here as well.
Treasure Contains:
Durafiber Fabric – Key Part
