5. Slicer’s Shelter
Slicer’s Shelter is located on the opposite side of Seeker’s Peril. To reach it, summon your speeder from the center of Seeker’s Peril and leap across to a cave in the west.
To reach the door with the treasure chest, begin by climbing up. You’ll need to shoot three power cores as swiftly as possible. The first core is located near the door, the second is further north, and the third is positioned high above the door. Look for the cables and follow them to locate the power cores. To access the one at the top, start your climb from the northern side of this area. It’s a lengthy ascent using the rippled walls. You’ll need to shoot all three power cores from the vantage point near the third one. There’s a ledge where you can stand, with the high core to the west and the other two on your left and right.

After discovering the previous treasure, make your way to the ruins of Curtek Homestead located on the opposite side of the cliff. At the top of these ruins, you’ll find a campsite with a closed door. Use your scanner to detect cables leading from the door to a closed shutter, behind which lies a power core. There’s also an overhead grapple swing available; while it’s not necessary to use, feel free to do so if you struggle to find the right angle for your shot. Equip your blaster to the “Ion” setting and send Nix to open the shutter. Shoot the power core to restore energy to the door opener. Now, you can unlock the door and claim your treasure.
