“Father and Son” is one of eight mysteries in Vatican City in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. To begin this quest, you’ll need to complete the “A Nun in Trouble” Fieldwork quest first. Completing it will give you “Giuliana’s Key,” which unlocks a balcony door at Borgia Tower. From there, you can enter an office through the balcony.
Open the desk drawer to find the first of six notes.
Father and Son: Collect Evidence
Note 1: Italian Poem
The Italian poem in the desk drawer.
Poem Description:

Note 2: Polybius Square Diagram
This note is in the second desk drawer in this room.
Note Description:
“A polybius square used to construct and decode secret messages.”
With these two notes, Indy can figure out the safe’s number code.
