Approach the Everbloom Tree
Once you’ve landed your spaceship at Terra Flora and the introductory cutscene wraps up, hop in the nearby cannon to launch yourself across to the other side of the land.
Head north past the Rabbid Robot Shop and you’ll run into a FOUL ATTRACTION Darkmess Puddle blocking the path – fight it off to clear the way.
Once it’s down, follow the trail of coins downhill until you reach the massive Everbloom Tree at the centre of Terra Flora. Step inside to begin the next part of this Sparks of Hope walkthrough.
Head Towards the Top of the Everbloom
Inside the Everbloom Tree, walk up to the Everbloom Tree Entrance Flag and activate it as your fast travel point. Follow the coin trail downward and you’ll hit a blue Darkmess barrier with a shimmering wave block nearby – destroy the block with your wave ability and you’ll uncover the device that needs a blue ball key.
You can spot the blue ball key off in the distance to the left, but first use the Yellow Scanner where the coin chain crosses the chasm to grow a bridge across.
At the far end of that bridge is a pipe leading to a new area with a clogged pipe and two wave blocks, both destructible with your purple wave ability.
To unclog the pipe, you’ll need a yellow cube: there’s a yellow square device and a yellow wave-marked wall nearby, so scan the yellow wave with your Scanner and follow the arrow it reveals to the right. That leads to a ladder.
Climb it, then look for a cracked rock wall – destroy it with Wave to reveal another yellow wave behind it. Scan it again, follow the new arrow right, and grow a bridge over the next chasm.
Keep your Scanner active on the far side and you’ll spot the yellow cube key sitting in the open; grab it and carry it back to the device to slot it in.
That unclogs the second white pipe, which now leads straight to the blue ball. Carry the blue ball back to the blue device the way you came, and the Darkmess barrier will finally drop.
From here, use your wave ability on the large purple tile beside the scrambled bridge tiles to lock them into a stable purple bridge – this only works when a big purple tile is close by. The next chasm doesn’t have an obvious one, but a shimmering wave block nearby hides a purple tile underneath; destroy the block, then wave the tile to fix that bridge too, letting you cross both.
Continue up until you reach a third big purple tile, wave it to grow another bridge, then keep following the coin trail straight up. The bridge after that has no purple tile in sight – instead, loop around the honey-covered hill and you’ll find a hidden wall you can break with Wave.
Climb the ladder on the other side to reach a purple bridge tile, wave it to cross, then slide down the honey and follow the coins to the top.
At the top of the climb you’ll face the OOZE INSIDE THE EVERBLOOM — defeat it to recruit Aquaquake to your team.
Reach the Central Station
With your upgraded Wave Power, grow a bridge near your position – tap ZR repeatedly if it doesn’t trigger right away – then head down the long spiral path it creates. At the bottom you’ll find a Darkmess Puddle, but you can skip the fight for now by growing another bridge across the chasm instead and continuing up to the exit.
Back outside, grow the bridge you couldn’t reach before, then activate the Terra Flora Meadows Flag on the other side. Follow the coin trail until a Darkness Eye barrier stops you, then look for a nearby white pipe and step inside.
On the other side, drop down and wave the large purple tile to build a bridge – though only the first of the two bridges will hold, since the second is scrambled again.
To fix it, climb down the ladder, grow a path back up to the first purple tile, and wave it again so the first bridge scrambles while the second locks into place. That clears the route to the egg, letting you destroy the Darkness Eye blocking your path. From there, climb the hill to activate the Terra Flora Central Station Flag and continue to the entrance above.
Take the train to Mt. Spout by heading through the gate and talking to Sullivan; on the journey there you’ll fight “One Angry Wriggler,” where the goal is to destroy every Darkmess Eye. Beating it unlocks the “Sullivan” Memory.
