Where to Get this Side Story

Location: Central Field Office
Description: “Langston says the Maintenance team left the Field Panopticon’s security system non-functional. He’s asked me to fix the Security Terminal so we can move one of the Altered Items safely.”

To start the Panopticon Service Request Side Story, talk to Langston at the Field Panopticon at the Central Field Office. He is marked as Important Person on the map.

1 – Repair the Security Terminal

Location: Central Field Office
Description: “The components should be somewhere inside the Field Panopticon.”

The Security Terminal Langston asks you to repair is just around the corner from the Field Panopticon.

Interact with it and it will blink red. There are two components missing in those red slots. One of them is in the same room as the terminal, on the floor. Carry it to the red slots and you can drop it inside.

For the second one, leave the Security Terminal room and pick up another one of those square components next to a desk and drop it into the second red section of the terminal. Then, interact with the Security Terminal to see that it is missing the antenna.

The antenna is just outside of the Security Terminal room, next to one of the containment cells. Look up next to the Security Terminal and you will see an antenna tower with a blinking red light. That’s where this antenna goes. The Security Terminal is now repaired. Interact with it and start the system.

2 – Give Langston the Correct Containment Cell ID

Location: Central Field Office
Description: “I repaired the security terminal, so the Altered Item can be moved now. But first, I need to give Langston the right cell number so he can open it from his end.”

Interact with door B-02, the one with the radio. The door will not open. Read the nearby note on the chair. It says that the FBC changed the configuration: the labels should now run counterclockwise, and the switches were changed to match. This only worked for me after reading the note and then interacting with the exit gate to realise that Langston had Dylan locked in.

Counting the labels counterclockwise, as the note describes, the correct answer is Category D-04.

3 – Move the Radio

Location: Central Field Office
Description: “The Altered Item’s containment cell is open. I need to move it to the other open cell in the Field Panopticon.”

There is only one other open cell in the area. Pick up the radio and it will briefly disappear in your hands. It will end up on the floor, where you can pick it up and place it onto the pedestal in the designated cell.

Rewards

The side story will be complete and you’ll receive an Artifact and a new suit in your wardrobe.
