In this Star Wars Outlaws Intel walkthrough, a Pyke Syndicate member tells Kay about the Counterfeit Credits issue at Mirogana market. The merchants are pointing fingers at the Pykes. Follow along as I uncover the Intel, track down the market trader spreading the fake Credits in Mirogana’s Market District, and locate a box of Counterfeit Credits to complete the quest. To get to the bottom of the scandal, I traced the rumors back to a shady trader operating in the shadows of the bustling market. After interrogating a few suspicious characters, I finally uncovered the location of the hidden stash, but not before encountering resistance from a group of mercenaries intent on protecting their racket. Despite a few setbacks, including a dead-end lead where the phrase intel rejected Star Wars Outlaws crossed my datapad, persistence eventually led me to the pivotal box of Counterfeit Credits needed to expose the truth.
1. Where to find the Intel Counterfeit Credits?
In the Pyke Syndicate District in Mirogana City on Toshara, search close to the Scavenger Merchant “Jora Margal” and the “Pyke Cardroom”. There’s a seating area with a few round tables. The Pyke is seated at one of them. When you speak with him, he’ll show Kay a stack of Counterfeit Credits and request her assistance in preventing their circulation.
2. Where is the Market Trader?
The next task in this walkthrough is to locate the Market Trader distributing Counterfeit Credits. Head to Mirogana Market for this. Check the in-game menu to track the Intel and locate the Market Trader within the yellow circular area.
Simply head to the merchant Hen Puon located north of the Pyke Syndicate’s northern district exit. Purchase any item to receive Counterfeit Credits. He will tell Kay that he got them from a stranger when he delivered fiberglass to the “Soup Kitchen”.
3. How to find the Soup Kitchen?
The next objective in the Intel guide is to locate the Soup Kitchen, where the merchant Hen Puon obtained the credits. Situated in Crimson Dawn Territory, you can sneak in if at poor standing or lower. With good standing, you can freely move in specific zones. An excellent reputation grants unrestricted access throughout!
You need to head to the Crimson Dawn Landing Pad first. It’s the circular area in the north of Mirogana and the Crimson Dawn district. Note that it’s not marked as a usable landing pad in-game.
HOW TO SNEAK TO THE LANDING PAD?
If you need to move stealthily but are unsure how here’s a guide for “The Slicer Quest” on reaching the landing pad without being detected.
Expert Intel: The Slicer – Star Wars Outlaws 2024
The Expert Intel: The Slicer quest is one of the two quests assigned by Danka, the Broker in the “New Tricks” Main Quest. Upon completion, it introduces a new expert to the in-game “Abilities” menu, offering a fresh array of…
On the landing pad, stay hidden and look around. notice that there is a ventilator with a big propeller at the back of the landing pad. Scan it with Nix’s ability and you will see that it is connected with a nearby lever.
The lever issue is that it requires active holding to stop the propeller. To proceed, position Kay next to the ventilator’s propeller, avoid the guards, and instruct Nix to hold the lever down. Once the propeller stops, Kay can sneak into the room behind it.
Sending Nix to hold the lever is tricky with patrolling guards around. Deal with them individually or act swiftly.
In a hidden, secure room, lower the ladder to access the Crimson Dawn Vault. At the back, find a large box full of Counterfeit Credits. Decide whether to report to the Pykes or alert the Crimson Dawn. Leave by jumping out of the nearby window. Reporting to your chosen faction completes the Intel Quest: Counterfeit Credits.
