Someone Needs a Lesson – Quest Start

Vasil is somewhere in the village, and the quest starts the moment you walk into him. He takes one look at Coen and runs.

1 – Catch Vasil

Mission Text:
“Vasil is picking on me again. I’ve just about had it. I’ve got to catch Vasil and tell him to p*ss off.”

Chase him down. Vasil always runs the same route and he waits for you if you fall behind, so there is no way to lose him for good. Catching him costs one time block. You can beat him up or talk to him, but either way Atanas, Vasil’s father, interrupts before it goes anywhere.

Atanas tells Coen to come with them. Refuse and he attacks on the spot, so Coen fights him right where he caught Vasil. Go along and Atanas asks Coen to beat Vasil instead. Refuse there and it is the same fight. Accept and Atanas hands over a stick to punish his own son with, which starts a mini-game where you beat Vasil’s already scarred back.

Your Three Options

Three ways to play it, and they resolve into two endings:

-> Refuse to go with Atanas. He attacks immediately and you fight him where you caught Vasil.
-> Go along, then refuse. Atanas asks Coen to beat Vasil, Coen says no, same fight.
-> Go along and take the stick. The mini-game, and the harder ending to watch.

Choices and Ending

Both routes into the Atanas fight end the same way. Beat him and Coen and Vasil talk afterwards, and it is the calmer of the two endings.

Take the stick and the game shows you Vasil’s back first. It is already covered in scars, which tells you what Atanas has been doing to him long before Coen turned up. The mini-game follows. There is still a conversation at the end, but Vasil comes out of it angrier than sad.
