The Strond Nornir Chest & Collectibles – God of War Ragnarok

Nornir Chest 1 Location

From the The Strond – Mythic Gate, take the same path up that you took with Atreus and Tyr. As you did with them, you exit the cave and squeeze through a vertical gap at the top. Once you’re through the gap, turn left and you can see a Nornir Chest down below.

There are three torches that need to be lit with your blades.

“C” Rune

Look to the left while standing next to the Nornir Chest. There is the torch just at the ledge. It can be lit without the pink arrows.

“R” Rune

For the “R” Rune, climb back up and follow the path to the left. At the top, you can turn left again. When you look down, you will see the “R” torch. Grapple down and light it up from below. No pink arrows needed.

“N” Rune

The “N” Rune is at the other side of the Nornir Chest. Stand close to the cliff and look down. From there you can fire up the torch.

Nornir Chest 2 Location

Just before you reach the big gate to the temple, you will reach the second Nornir Chest.

To activate the three Runes of the Chest, you have to use your spear. Throw it at each one of the runes (you’ll see the yellow tip on the rune) and detonate all three at the same time.

“N” Rune

The Rune is just left of the chest.

“F” Rune

For the “F” Rune, go towards the Temple gate but don’t jump over the gap yet. Look towards the right. There is a waterfall and the F Rune.

“n” Rune

The “n” Rune is on the other side of the Nornir Chest up on top of the rocks.

Now just detonate all 3 spear tips at the same time and the Nornir Chest is open.

Legendary Chest

Like in the story, cross the big bridge with the gap. Just after your first deflecting pink crystal puzzle, where you have to open a wooden gate, there is a ledge grapple down. Go down there. To the left, behind a barrier that you can destroy with melee, is the Legendary Chest next to the Artefact.

Lore

There are two Lore to find in The Strond. Here’s where they are.

1 – Rune Reads – Broken History

As you arrive at The Strond through the Mystic Gateway. The Lore is straight ahead, not to miss. It’s the BROKEN HYSTORY – Rune Reads Lore

2 – Lore Marker – The Living Desert

From the Mystic Gate at The Strond, follow the path up (same path as you took with Atreus and Tyr in the story). When you exit the cave, you are at the viewpoint, where they all stopped. Look down at this viewpoint. You will see the Lore Marker down below.

Artifacts

There are two Artifacts in The Strond – Alfheim and here’s how to get them.

1 – Tributes to Freyr – Dream Charm

In the Quest “Groa’s Secret” you come across a Nornir Chest on the way to Groa’s Shrine. Just next to it, shining in purple is the TRIBUTES TO FREYR – DREAM CHARM Artifact.

2 – Kvasir’s Poems – Afterlife Abandonment

From the Mystic Gate at The Strond, follow the path up (same path as you took with Atreus and Tyr in the story). When you exit the cave, you are at the viewpoint, where they all stopped. Look down at this viewpoint. You will see the Lore Marker down below.

Odin’s Raven

As you follow the path from The Strond Mystic Gateway, you get to an open area with a bridge and a tree. The Raven is sitting on this tree. Shoot it!

Hel Tear

From The Strond Mythic Gate, there is a grapple spot down to a Hel Tear. Interact with it to start to close it.

Remnants of Asgard

Before you get to the Temple Gate at the top of The Strond, you will see a shimmering up ahead. That’s the Bifrost from the Remnants of Asgard. Fight them to get this collectible.
