Trinacria are permanently marked on the map when you’re within range, but despite their shimmering effect, they can still be difficult to spot. This guide is organized into two sections: Trinacria found exclusively in Chapters and those located in Explore mode. Trinacria in Chapters
Out of the 58 Trinacrias, 13 are hidden within specific chapters. If you miss one, you’ll need to replay the chapter to collect it. However, you don’t need to fully complete the chapter – simply revisit to grab the collectible and head back to the main menu.
Chapter 3 – Pizzu – Impound Yard
In Chapter 3: Pizzu, Enzo, Luca, and Cesare ride to Porto Almaro, where Enzo has to sneak into the customs office and the Impound Yard. Inside the impound yard, you can find a Trinacria on top of one of the tables, where the guards stop when patrolling the area.
Chapter 3 – Pizzu – Abandoned Farm
In Chapter 3: Pizzu, after retrieving the whiskey in the Porto Almaro impound yard, Enzo and Cesare end up cleaning out an Abandoned Farm – it’s where Enzo gets to shoot for the first time. In the main building, destroy the padlock to the backyard. Exit to the backyard and look above the exit door. Shoot the Trinacria to collect it.
Chapter 4 – Il Barone – Lower Camp
In Chapter 4: Il Barone, Enzo gets to access Messina’s Camp. Messina’s Camp consists of three parts: The lower camp starting area, the cave, and the upper part. At the starting area, go to the very back, where the tents are, before entering the caves. The Trinacria hangs on the outside mountain wall and has to be shot down.
Chapter 4 – Il Barone – Upper Camp
In Chapter 4: Il Barone, after freeing Gennaro in Messina’s camp, they flee through a ruined archway toward the Messina knife fight. Here, on top of the arch, is the Trinacria.
Chapter 5 – Vendetta D’Onore – Side Building
Inside the side building of Ludovicis Villa in Chapter 5: Vendetta D’Onore is a workbench with a chest and a Trinacria collectible.
Chapter 5 – Vendetta D’Onore – Main Building
Enter Ludovici’s Villa’s main building in Chapter 5: Vendetta D’Onore and go to the corridor. Look for a big, golden bracket clock on top of a drawer unit. There you will find the Trinacria.
Chapter 6 – La Difesa Siciliana
In Chapter 6: La Difesa Siciliana, Enzo must free Giuseppe from prison. This Trinacria is inside Giuseppe’s prison cell, on the table.
Chapter 7 – Spirito Sportivo
In Chapter 7: Spirito Sportivo, Enzo can enter the Bordello in San Celeste and reach a balcony on the top floor. From there, he can cross over to another room that holds the Trinacria at the Bordello.
Chapter 9 – Industria
In Chapter 9: Industria, Enzo gets to enter the factory in Collezolfo. Here, in the factory yard, where the coal is stored, is the Trinacria.
Chapter 11 – Mattanza
In Chapter 11: Mattanza, Enzo heads to the Tonnara for a meeting with Don Spadaro. During the shootout, Enzo has to reach a sniper, while Leo covers him. Here you can shoot a Trinacria off the building.
Chapter 12 – La Forza del Destino – Backstage
In Chapter 12: La Forza del Destino, Enzo travels to Palermo. There is a Trinacria on the backstage table.
Chapter 12 – La Forza del Destino – Crypt
In Chapter 12: La Forza del Destino, after killing the Baron in the opera, Enzo follows Spadaro through the sewers, where he enters a crypt before facing Spadaro in a knife fight. Before the knife fight, enter the crypt from the sewers, turn left and left again at the top of the stairs to find this Trinacria.
Chapter 13 – Capiregime
In Chapter 13: Capiregime, Enzo and Cesare have to reach a church north of Porto Almaro. Just below the church are some ruins where you can find the Trinacria.
Trinacria in Explore Mode
Out of the 58 total Mystery Foxes in Mafia: The Old Country, 45 can be found scattered across the open world. In most cases, they are attached to the walls of buildings, but sometimes they are just lying around.
Pasquale’s Store Location
They can be sold at Pasquale’s Store.
Abandoned Village
In Chapter 13: Capiregime, Enzo sneaks into an abandoned village to kill Mazzone in the Abandoned Village. There is a ruined house with a fireplace. The Trinacria is above the fireplace. Shoot it to get it down. This Trinacria is also accessible in Explore Mode. It is not necessary to replay the chapter.
Affini Farm North
The Affini Farm is the lemon farm Enzo visits in Chapter 3: Pizzu. North of it is a building with this Trinacria attached to it.
Arched Walls
At the easternmost road of the Temple of Aphrodite is an old, ruined arched wall. Here is also a Trinacria attached to it.
Collezolfo South
In the southern part of Collezolfo is a small courtyard with a staircase. On top of this staircase is a Trinacria.
Collezolfo Sulfur Mine – South
South of the Collezolfo Sulfur Mine is a small house by the main road with a Trinacria attached to it.
Collezolfo Sulfur Mine – Southeast
One Trinacria is attached to one of the ruined houses southeast of the Collezolfo Sulfur Mine.
Easternmost Village – House
At the edge of the map, east of San Celeste, lies a small village where Cesare’s car broke down while traveling to the ruins with the Baron’s son. Just south of this village, you’ll find a house adorned with the symbol of the Trinacria.
Eastern Quarry
North of the Temple of Aphrodite in the southeast of the map is a small quarry by the road. A Trinacria is hanging on the crane rope.
Fiumansa – The Tannery 1
At the Fiumansa, the Tannery, look down to the nearby stream. Down there is the Trinacria on top of a blue box.
Fiumansa – The Tannery 2
At the Fiumansa, the Tannery, in the southwest of San Celeste, the mafiosi are printing money. Head to the southwestern-most building, a barn, where you can see the Trinacria hanging above the barn doors. Shoot it to get it down.
Fiumansa – Southwest
Southwest of the tannery is a bridge with a Trinacria attached to it.
Fontanella
A short drive to the north of the timber mill and northwest of Pasquale’s Store is a ruined house with a Trinacria inside.
Fontanella – West
Head to the Fontanella Fast Travel Point and ride west toward the Sulfur Mine. As you approach, look to your right at the first estate you pass. You’ll spot a Trinacria mounted on the wall of the house.
Giambaressi Quarry
There is a house just north of the Giambaressi Quarry with a Trinacria attached to the back wall.
L’Antica Riva Fast Travel Point
Right at the L’Antica Riva Temple Ruins fast travel point is a Trinacria at the top of two pillars.
Lago Efesto Ruins
There is a Trinacria attached to the Lago Efesto Ruins in the northeast of the Mafia: The Old Country map.
Pasquale’s Gas Station – Beach
Northwest of Porto Armaro and south of Pasquale’s Gas Station is a bridge. From the west side of the bridge (where the horse is in the map screenshot), there is a footpath going down to the beach. Here, on shore, you can take a photograph of the tower above. Nearby is a staircase to reach this tower and find the Trinacria attached to it.
Pasquale’s Gas Station – South
There is a house south of Pasquale’s Gas Station along the main road. The Trinacria is on a barrel next to the closed gate.
Pasquale’s Store – Bridge
There is a Trinacria in the center of the bridge near Pasquale’s Store.
Pasquale’s Store – Northeast
Northeast of Pasquale’s Store is an estate with a small courtyard. Here you can find the Trinacria above the archway.
Porto Almaro – Bench
There is a Trinacria on a bench at the western side of Porto Almaro.
Porto Almaro – Church
Porto Almaro has a church with a terrace below it. There you can find a Trinacria.
Porto Almaro – Ruins
Northwest of Porto Almaro are ruins with a Trinacria attached to them. To reach the ruins, look for a stone staircase going up in the northwestern part of the town. Head to the top, where you can climb a ledge to the left. Follow the path and keep climbing the ledges until you reach the ruins.
Porto Almaro – South
Make your way to the southernmost point of Porto Almaro Harbour, where you’ll discover this Trinacria resting on a wooden box.
Salt Farm East
At the coast, between Porto Almaro and L’Antica Riva, east of the Salt Mine, is a small building with a round dome at the side of the road. The Trinacria is attached to the back wall.
Salt Farm – Windmill
In Chapter 13: Capiregime, Enzo and Cesare are driving down to a salt mine east of Porto Almaro. Here, attached to the windmill is the Trinacria. You have to time the shot to get it down.
San Celeste – Apartment
At some stage in the story, Enzo will receive his own apartment in San Celeste. In the kitchen is a Trinacria.
San Celeste – Bench
This Trinacria is west of the Bordello in San Celeste, on a bench.
San Celeste – Fountain
This Trinacria is just north of the San Celeste Fast Travel Point, at the fountain.
San Celeste North
North of San Celeste are some ruins (where the horse racing took place in Chapter 3: Pizzu). At the base of the well is the Trinacria. The well is not accessible in the chapter and can only be accessed in Explore mode.
San Celeste – Southern Ruins
In Chapter 13: Capiregime, Enzo has to find Caccini. This Trinacria is at Caccini’s location in the ruins south of San Celeste.
San Celeste – West
Just west of San Celeste is a long house on the main road. Above its entrance is a Trinacria. Shoot it to receive it.
Southeastern Coast Bridge
At the southeastern coast, south of the Temple of Aphrodite, there is a small bridge. The Trinacria is attached to the top of the bridge.
Temple of Aphrodite
In Chapter 4: Il Barone, Enzo is visiting the Temple of Aphrodite. In the temple, on top of a wooden table, is a Trinacria.
Temple of Aphrodite Car Chase
In Chapter 4: Il Barone, Enzo is visiting the Temple of Aphrodite. After Isabella gets kidnapped, he chases her in a car, driving through a temple. High up on this temple, on the beam, is this Trinacria.
Timber Mill
There is a Trinacria attached to the main building of the timber mill west of Pasquale’s Store.
Tonnara – Northeast
Northeast of the Tonnara is a house with a closed gate. There is a Trinacria on top of a wall next to the gate.
Torrisi – East
In the very south of Villa Torrisi is the “Torrisi” Fast Travel point in Explorer Mode. East of it is a farm with this Trinacria attached to the main farm building.
Torrisi – South
South of the “Torrisi” Fast Travel point and east of Villa Ludovici, you’ll find a house with this Trinacria.
Torrisi – Southwest
Southwest of the “Torrisi” Fast Travel point in Explorer Mode, you’ll find a house adorned with a Trinacria symbol.
Villa Torrisi East
In Chapter 13: Capiregime, Enzo and Tino drive a body to an abandoned farm east of Villa Torrisi to bury it. The Trinacria is attached to this farm.
Villa Torrisi Northwest
Between Villa Torrisi and Pasquale’s Store, just after the bridge, is a house with a Trinacria attached to it.
Villa Torrisi South 1
In Chapter 4: Il Barone, Enzo and Isabella are riding to the ruins. They meet Cesare in a small village having car issues. Here, attached to the pink house is a Trinacria. During the chapter, you can’t shoot this Trinacria down. You will have to come back again in Explore Mode.
Villa Torrisi South 2
At the edge of the map, south of Villa Torrisi, lies a small village where Cesare’s car broke down while traveling to the ruins with the Baron’s son in Chapter 4: Il Barone. Just south of this village, you’ll find a house adorned with the symbol of the Trinacria. The Trinacria cannot be shot while playing the chapter. You have to return to it in Explore mode.
Villa Torrisi West
Between Villa Torrisi and San Celeste is a big estate with a Trinacria attached to the top of the courtyard’s archway.
Winding Mountain Road to L’Antica Riva
In Chapter 4: Il Barone, Enzo and Isabella are riding together on a winding mountain road, just before photography is introduced to the game. On this road is a cave with a Trinacria inside.
