Central Park
The Sound Sample starts on the bridge in the south center part of the park.
The sound you have to pick up is called “Flock of Pigeons“. There are a group of Pigeons nearby but they will fly away pretty quickly. Use stealth to get really close and record the sound.
Chinatown
The Sound Sample starts on the ledge above the advertising board at the north west of Midtown.
The Sound you have to pick up is called “Wind Chimes“. Look for the Paifang (Chinese Gate) in the area. There are some Wind Chimes hanging on it.
Financial District
The Sound Sample starts on the round Ticket Building in the Battery Park.
Hop onto the Americal Flag Pole and look towards the water. Scan the Ferry.
Greenwich
The Sound Sample starts on the roof.
The Sound you have to pick up is called “Church Bells“. Hop onto the center of the square, look for the church tower and record the bells.
Harlem
The Sound Sample starts on the roof. Hit R2 to start. The sound you have to pick up is called “Train Rumble“.
There is a subway line nearby. Hop onto a lamp, face the subway lamp right at the mission border and wait until a train passes by to record.
Midtown
The Sound Sample starts on the ledge above the advertising board at the north west of Midtown. The sound you have to pick up is called “Neon Flag Hum“.
Hop on one of the lamps or umbrellas and record the sound of the American Flag Neon Sign.
Upper East Side
The Sound Sample starts on a balcony in the north west of the Upper East Side. The Sound you have to pick up is called “Water Drip“.
Hop on the Christmas Tree and look up. There is a water tank that drips water. Hop onto one of the lamps nearby and you can record the dripping.
Upper West Side
The Sound Sample starts on a dumpster roof in the south east of the Upper West Side. The Sound you have to pick up is called “Fire Truck Engine“.
There is an open truck door at the fire station, where firemen are gathered around. Stand in front of the open garage, facing the Fire Truck Engine, to record.
