Starfield Eyewitness Walkthrough – EM Weapon and Terrormorph Attack

Eyewitness Mission Overview

Mission type: Faction mission, the fourth in the UC Vanguard questline
Quest giver: Hadrian, outside MAST in New Atlantis
Location: The MAST building, the NAT station and the New Atlantis Spaceport in New Atlantis on Jemison, Alpha Centauri
Objectives: Meet Hadrian, attend the Cabinet meeting, incapacitate the attackers at the NAT station, kill the Terrormorphs at the spaceport, talk to Sergeant Yumi and report to President Abello
Prerequisites: Complete Delivering Devils
Quest chain: Follows Delivering Devils and unlocks Friends Like These

The attackers at the NAT station are civilians under the control of a Terrormorph. Use the EM weapon on them so they end up incapacitated, and save your regular weapons for the Terrormorphs at the spaceport.

How to Start Eyewitness in Starfield

Eyewitness is the follow-up mission of Delivering Devils. Once you have finished it, Hadrian tells you she will be waiting for you outside MAST in New Atlantis.

1 – Meet Hadrian Outside MAST in New Atlantis

Mission Text:
“Hadrian said she’ll be waiting for me outside of MAST in New Atlantis.”

Travel to New Atlantis on Jemison in the Alpha Centauri system and head to the MAST building. Hadrian is waiting for you outside. Talk to her before you go in.

2 – Proceed to the Cabinet Chambers

Mission Text:
“We’ve been summoned by the Cabinet to present our findings. Looks like we’re heading to the Cabinet Chambers on the top floor of MAST.”

Enter MAST and take the elevator in the lobby up to the top floor. The meeting starts as soon as you reach the blue mission marker. Talk to the Cabinet and listen to what they have to say.

3 – Take the NAT and Incapacitate the Attackers with the EM Weapon

Mission Text:
“The president wants Hadrian and I at the spaceport on the double! We need to take the elevator down to the NAT station now!”

Take the elevator down to the NAT station. Civilians there are attacking everyone around them. Pick up the EM Rifle lying on the floor and use it to incapacitate the attackers instead of killing them.

4 – Assess the Situation at the NAT Station

Mission Text:
“The hostiles have been dealt with. I should talk to the guards to figure out what happened here.”

Talk to the guard at the NAT station, then board the tram to the spaceport.

5 – Kill the Terrormorphs and Talk to Sergeant Yumi at the Spaceport

Mission Text:
“Those people were mind-controlled by a Terrormorph… which means we’re going to need to be extra careful down at the spaceport. We need to get down there on the double.”

At the New Atlantis Spaceport, fight the first Terrormorph. Then talk to Sergeant Yumi.

After the conversation, you can take the Fireteam with you by talking to them. This is optional. Keep fighting until all Terrormorphs are eradicated, then go back and talk to Sergeant Yumi again.

6 – Report to President Abello in the Cabinet Chambers

Mission Text:
“Sergeant Yumi was grateful for our help. Now, we just need to let the Cabinet know what happened here.”

Take the NAT back to MAST and report to the Cabinet. After the conversation with President Abello, Eyewitness is complete and the next UC Vanguard mission, Friends Like These, starts.
