There are 4 World Events in Wincestre.

Aelfred’s Jewel

To find Aelfred’s Jewel, head northwest of Witan Hall. A man will be shouting in front of a house, attempting to get someone’s attention. Talk to him to learn about his dilemma. After hearing him out, go around to the back of the house where you will notice a window. Using your bow, shoot off the wooden planks covering the window to gain access.

Once inside, look for the Jeweller and begin a conversation with him. He will hand over the jewel you need. Return to the man standing in front of the house and speak with him once more to complete the event.

Asser

Southwest of The Old Minster, you’ll discover a small church where a priest is busy following what he believes to be sacred teachings through beams of sunlight. To help him finish this task, you will need to manipulate the beams so they align with specific writings inside the temple.

Start by heading outdoors and finding the scaffolding. Climb up to the structure and begin moving the shelves around. The goal is to block every window, redirecting the sunlight beams exclusively to the spot with the last writing. Adjust the final shelf carefully to ensure the light hits the specific area, assisting the priest in completing his spiritual task.

Mildberg the Miracle Legs

Near the northeastern stables of Wincestre, you will encounter a young girl named Mildberg, renowned for what she calls her “miracle legs.” Strike up a conversation with her to initiate the event. After talking, she will take off running, and your task is to follow her. Stay on her trail and keep up with her pace to successfully complete the event and enjoy the amusing outcome of her little race.

Romeo and Aethelflaed

Begin your adventure at the base of the church near a tree, where you’ll find some children cheering. Climb the scaffolding on the side of the church to reach the top and speak with the boy situated there. He will guide you to use the zipline.

Once on the zipline, make sure you time your release carefully. Jump off at the right moment to land correctly on the branch of the nearby tree. From this position, pick one of the red flowers as instructed. With the flower in hand, return to the boy and speak to him again to complete this heartwarming event.
