Rise of the Ronin Miyozaki Map
The in-game map with all 11 Miyozaki collectibles marked. Click the map to open it in full size.
All collectibles show up on your map once you reach Area Bond Level 3 in Miyozaki. You raise the Area Bond by restoring Public Order, raising Veiled Edge Banners and finding collectibles. Nothing in Miyozaki is missable, so you can also come back after the story.
Miyozaki borders Yoshida-Shinden to the south, Noge to the west, Bashamichi to the northwest, Honcho to the northeast and Motomachi to the east.
Miyozaki Veiled Edge Banners
Veiled Edge Banners are save and fast travel points. As soon as you restore a Public Order, the banners are revealed on the map.
1. Pleasure District Veiled Edge Banner
Location: Pleasure District
This banner activates automatically while you follow the Follow the Blade Twin main mission to the Pleasure District.
2. Longhouse Veiled Edge Banner
Location: At your Longhouse
Keep following Follow the Blade Twin and you meet up again at the Longhouse. There is a Veiled Edge Banner right there.
3. Northwest Building Veiled Edge Banner
Location: In front of a building in the northwest of Miyozaki
Head to the northwest of the region. The banner stands in front of a building.
4. Public Order Tower Veiled Edge Banner
Location: On top of the tower next to the unruly area in the northwest
Restore the Public Order in the unruly area and this banner unlocks automatically on top of the nearby tower.
Miyozaki Public Order – Unruly Area
Location: Unruly area in the northwest, west of the Pleasure District
Miyozaki has only one unruly area. Defeat every enemy there, including the Fugitive Loan Shark Takenoshin, to restore Public Order. This also unlocks the Public Order Tower Veiled Edge Banner.
Miyozaki Fugitive – Loan Shark Takenoshin
Location: Unruly area in the northwest of Miyozaki
Fugitives are bounty targets you have to find and defeat. Loan Shark Takenoshin is part of the unruly area, so you take him down while restoring Public Order. You need 50 of the 91 Fugitives in the game for the Keeper of the Peace trophy.
Pleasure District Landmark
Location: Pleasure District, reached during Follow the Blade Twin
Landmarks are important places you only have to visit. Miyozaki has just one, the Pleasure District. Follow Ryoma in the Follow the Blade Twin main mission and you get there without any detours. While you are there, look for the Calico cat inside one of the buildings.
How to Find the Miyozaki Shrine
Location: Southeast of the Public Order banner and west of the Pleasure District banner
Fast travel to the Public Order Tower Veiled Edge Banner and head southeast. The shrine sits between this banner and the Pleasure District banner, but much closer to the Public Order banner.
Miyozaki Cat Locations
Cats are real cats you need to pet, not statues. Listen for meowing, which means one is close. Calico cats run off if you are noisy, so sneak up on them. You need all 100 cats in the game for the Cats Over All trophy, and you can trade them for rewards at the cat vendor in Yokohama.
1. Pleasure District Calico Cat
Location: Ground floor room inside a Pleasure District building
This is a Calico cat, so crouch before you walk into the room. If you rush in, it escapes and you have to come back later.
2. Tall Grass Cat
Location: Tall grass in the west of Miyozaki
Search the west of the region for this cat. It hides in the tall grass, so follow the meowing.
Miyozaki Treasure Chest – Peacock Uchigatana
Location: Top floor of a guarded storehouse
The only Treasure Chest in Miyozaki is inside a guarded storehouse with a locked door. Look for the open window on the top floor, just above the scaffolding. Climb onto the roof of the neighbouring building and use Glide to reach the scaffolding. Enter through the window and open the chest to get the Peacock Uchigatana.
