Blades of Fire: All Life Cryptex Locations

Besacarr Hamlet – Barn

Begin the game by heading to the top floor of the barn in Besacarr Hamlet Village. From there, make your way down to the ground level. Once on the ground, lower the ladder and climb back up to access the upper floor. There, a chest awaits your discovery.

Kar-Lethel Swamp – Spore Brutes Cave

At Forger’s Sanctum, use the energy to build a bridge to the east, as the southern bridge is missing a piece. When you cross, you’ll see a Vexer stealing the missing part and running away. Chase after it until a summoned wall blocks your path. Turn around and run the other way—the Vexer will crash into the wall, drop the part, and start a fight with you.

Take the section of the southern bridge and harness the energy from the eastern bridge to reconstruct it. Once completed, drop down at the far end. Here, the crow will guide you to the left. Instead, head to the right and make your way uphill, where you’ll encounter Spore Brutes. Beyond them lies a cave containing the chest.

Kar-Lethel Swamp – Western Vexxer Village

Find a piece of the Forger’s Automatron’s heart at the Doyen Graves and use it on the Automatron up the hill, northwest of Glinda. North of this area is a Vexxer Village with this chest.

Crimson Fort – Cellar’s Rooftop

After obtaining the Key of the Lord from a Cavimo Rex beast near the end of your journey in the Crimson Fort, make your way back to the Cellar’s Rooftop Anvil. Head into the southern building and ignore the staircase on your left. Instead, proceed to the right, where you’ll find a path leading downward. Continue until you reach a storage room on the left side. Inside, you’ll discover one of the gates unlocked by the Key of the Lord, granting you access to a chest.

Crimson Fort – Hollow Hall

From the Hollow Hall, go to the room with the round wooden table. Here you can exit a window that leads to a gate and a chest.

Crimson Fort – Doyen Graves Vantage East

At the Doyen Graves Vantage Anvil, head east and follow the narrow path downward until you reach a ladder. Descend the ladder carefully. At the bottom, turn to the right and enter the cave, where you’ll find a climbable rope. Ascend the rope to the top. Once there, locate the weak wall, break through it, and you’ll uncover the chest.

From this point, you can unlock the gate, ascend the stairs, and make your way back to the Doyen Graves Vantage Anvil by breaking through a nearby door.

Doyen Graves – Cursed Bridge

Just north of the Cursed Bridge Anvil lies a small tomb containing a chest. To access it, you must first face the Sentenza, located in the largest building in the area, which is sealed with a ghostly lock. To unlock the door, search the area for the Phantom Key. Once found, use it to open the door, defeat the Sentenza, and make your way to the chest.

Doyen Graves – Pile of Bones Sentenza

On the Doyen Graves map, you’ll notice a striking pile of bones resembling a skull and ribcage. To reach this location, you’ll need the Phantom Key, which can be obtained from the chest above. Begin your journey at the Funereal Bridge Anvil and head downward to locate a spectral lock. Use the Phantom Key to unlock it, granting access to the bone formation. At the far end, you’ll discover the entrance to a crypt, which leads to a Sentenza.

Enter through the entrance and climb up using the rope. Once at the top, make your way into the tower. There is another rope at the center that you can climb up to get to this chest.

Iron Castle – Northern Light Rune

To find the chest with the Life Cryptex, head to the area in the Iron Castle, where Aran lifted Adso in a cage during the story to access Aecides’ Chapel. At the base of the first ladder, you’ll find the Light Rune.

Open the passage and follow the path leading to the western part of the Iron Castle. Continue to follow the path to the left, where you can reach the top of the western tower, where a fight with a Royal Warden awaits, together with a chest.

Roggs Mountains – Troll Cave

From the Roggs Watch Anvil at the Roggs Mountains, follow the story path until you get to defeat a Troll in its cave. In here are two chests, one of which has the Life Cryptex in it.

Citadel of Tharas-Münde – Penitent’s Gate

After having retrieved the Father’s Relic on the middle platform in the Citadel of Tharas-Münde, use the energy for the bridges below, on the energy node to the east of the Penitent’s Gate anvil, where you can cross over and find a chest on the northern balcony.
