Find the 3 Pieces of the Golem’s Heart – Blades of Fire

Where to Start the Search?

In Doyen Graves, advance through the storyline until you encounter Sentenza in the ghostly locked crypt. To unlock the crypt, you’ll need to locate the key, which can be found near the Gazebo of Solitude Anvil. After defeating Sentenza, you’ll gain entry to the Cursed Bridge, situated east of Doyen Graves. Just north of the Cursed Bridge Anvil, the group will discover a Forger’s Automatron. Here, Aran will receive a quest to locate the three Pieces of the Golem’s Heart.

Heart Fragment 1

To obtain the first Golem Heart piece, you’ll need to complete the Quest to Find Rohan the Jester’s Mask. Completing this quest unlocks the path leading north of Doyen Graves to the Valley of Mausoleums. Once you arrive at the central mausoleum, known as Daurel’s Mausoleum, Melcart will recall two crucial details:

First, the mausoleum can only be opened with a legendary sword, the Argenvadil, hidden in the Kar Lethel Swamp. Second, he already possesses one of the Heart Pieces.

Heart Fragment 2

To unlock Daurel’s Mausoleum with the Legendary Sword, Argenvadil, begin your journey at Angel’s Cliff Anvil, located in the Kar-Lethel Swamp near Glinda’s house. Just up the hill, you’ll find a Forger’s Automatron. Interact with it and insert the Heart Piece that Aran received from Melcart. Doing so will activate the Automatron, shifting its arm and revealing a hidden passage.

Head into the western swamp and make your way through the ruins until you find a statue of a soldier. Interact with the statue to obtain Hurmuz’s Dormant Amulet medallion. Next, bring the medallion to Glinda, who will awaken its power. Once awakened, return to the swamp west of Glinda, where you’ll face three Forger Sentinels. After defeating them, go back to the soldier’s statue and interact with it once more.

This will set the big tree in the center of the western swamp ablaze and reveal a sarcophagus. Inside is the Sabers -> Kalis Forge Scroll. At the forge, you will notice that this Kalis has some violet colored elements. Forge it with those violet elements to forge the Argenvadil Legendary Sword. Return with it to Daurel’s Mausoleum and interact with the statue at the entrance. Inside, in a chest, is the Golem’s Heart Fragment 2.

Heart Fragment 3

Head back to Kar-Lethel Swamp and make your way to the Angel’s Cliff Anvil, located near Glinda’s house. From there, venture into the western swamp and enter the cave to the south. Deep within the cave, you’ll find an Automatron that requires two heart pieces to activate. Offer the pieces, and the Automatron will unlock a passage leading to the water.

When you arrive at the base of Glinda’s house, she will take off. Follow the path ahead, and at its end, you’ll find a narrow gap in the rock to squeeze through. Beyond the gap, the trail leads to the Coastal Wall Anvil, where you can climb up the coastal wall.

At the top of the wall, you’ll need to chase down a Vexxer that has stolen a crucial component for one of the energy bridges. This one is for an elevator to sea level. Follow the Vexxer, which will lead you to a Thaumaturgist’s Abomination. Defeat the creature and retrieve the stolen elevator component. Once you have it, return to the top of the wall where you started. Look for a round floor platform you can interact with and place the elevator part there. This round platform acts as an elevator, taking the elevator part to the level with the glowing floor tiles. From there, descend to the wall’s lowest level, retrieve the component again, and install it on the energy node for the elevator.

Return to the place where you’ve defeated the Abomination to pick up the bridge energy. Now, run to the place where you’ve placed the elevator part to activate the elevator. You need to hurry.

Glinda’s house is now by the sea. But there is no Anvil now. Head north of this seaside area to walk a narrow ledge to the other side, where you can go to the left or to the right. If you take the path to the left, you can climb up a rope to a chest with a Forge Cryptex.

The path to the right after the ledge is the way to go for the story. There is another rope that goes up and then turns into a seaside cliff path leading to the Aurora Seashore Anvil.

The path from the anvil takes you directly into a Vexxers village and then into a foul-smelling cave. Navigate through the lower level of the cave, where you’ll face Vhoroo. Defeat Vhoroo to claim the Rapier Swords Forge Scroll. Before leaving, make sure to collect the third heart fragment hidden within the cave.

To return to the Anvil, simply have Adso unlock the nearby door, which leads back to the chest you accessed earlier. At the Anvil, head back to the Cursed Bridge at Doyen Graves and interact with the Automatron there.
