Motomachi has no Veiled Edge Banner and no Shrine, so you can stop looking for them. All collectibles show up on your map once you reach Area Bond Level 3 in Motomachi. You raise the Area Bond by restoring Public Order and finding collectibles. Nothing in Motomachi is missable, so you can also come back after the story.

Public Order events are areas occupied by enemies. Defeat all of them to restore order and raise your Area Bond.

Location: Kanteibyo Mausoleum in the south of Motomachi

The only Public Order in Motomachi is at the Kanteibyo Mausoleum Landmark in the south of the region. You only have to defeat 4 enemies. Once they are gone, the Landmark is added to your collection too. While you are there, take the Holy Ruler Guan photo inside the Mausoleum.

Fugitives are bounty targets you have to find and defeat. You need 50 of the 91 Fugitives in the game for the Keeper of the Peace trophy.

Mouton the Undercover Lover guards the locked storehouse with the Treasure Chest, together with two more bandits. He is a high-level enemy, so if he is too tough, come back once you are stronger. After you defeat him, grab the chest while you are there.

Landmarks are important places you only have to visit. Motomachi has just one, the Kanteibyo Mausoleum. When you first enter the region it is an Unruly Area, so restore the Public Order there and the Landmark is added to your collection.

Cats are real cats you need to pet, not statues. Listen for meowing, which means one is close. You need all 100 cats in the game for the Cats Over All trophy, and you can trade them for rewards at the cat vendor in Yokohama.

The only cat in Motomachi is a black cat sitting on a tall wall behind a house in the south of the region. Climb onto the roof of the building next to it, as shown in the screenshot, and pet the cat from there.

The only Treasure Chest in Motomachi is inside a locked storehouse guarded by the Fugitive Mouton and two bandits. Spikes cover the roofs all around the storehouse, so you can’t just climb over. Climb onto the roof opposite the storehouse, as shown in the screenshot, and use your glider to reach the storehouse scaffolding. The chest is reachable from there. Open it to get the Oxtail Blade and the Imperial Oxtail Blade.

Keep following the main mission Follow Your Blade Twin until you get a camera. Then you can take photographs. You need all 44 photographs in the game for the Sightseer trophy.

The Holy Ruler Guan is the statue inside the Kanteibyo Mausoleum. Take this photo while you clear the Public Order there, so you don’t have to come back.

2. Gazing at the Clock Tower

“Take a photograph of the clock tower from the roof of the building adjacent to the North Gate of Chinatown.”

The target is the Yokohama Town Hall Clocktower, a Landmark in the Honcho Region north of Motomachi. Follow the map to the building next to the North Gate of Chinatown and use a grappling spot to get onto the roof. The glider grappling spots on the roofs let you launch into the air if you need to glide across. Once you are on the roof across from the Clock Tower, take the photo when the red circle is in the center.
