The Ancient Circles of Vale Sangora are a daytime Activity in The Blood of Dawnwalker, and the ruins at the Northern Swamp south of Mert’s Mill are one of several sets scattered across the map. Discovering them starts the activity, but the trial only wakes when you use Astral Communion at the centre of the circle. Clearing it costs a single time slot and pays out a Skill Point, 250 XP and a chest holding the Mercurial Fervour Manual.

The Ancient Circle: Northern Swamp are just south of Mert’s Mill just south of Laslea village.
1 – Explore the Ancient Circles
Quest Text:
“I stumbled upon a ruined ancient circle. I wonder what secrets it may hold… – I have to use Astral Communion by the altar to awaken the magic resting in this ancient circle.”
To start, use Astral Communion in the center of the circle. Before you do, you can investigate the fresco by the altar. Every Ancient Circle has another fresco. The chest next to the fresco is the reward chest and will be freed from the red roots once the challenge is over. Every Astral Communion costs 1 time segment.
2 – Search the Chest
There are four unnamed Astral Beings to be defeated. Then, the chest will be free to loot. The astral beings mostly drop ingredient loot.
