Cursed Symbol
There are 3 Cursed Symbols in Snotinghamscire.
Minninglow
Travel to a cave entrance right south of the Minninglow marker on your map. Enter the cave and follow the corridor into the series of rooms. Along the way, locate a key lying on the floor in one of the side caves. Use the key to unlock a door, then proceed toward the Cursed Symbol indicated on your HUD. Once inside, climb the rock near the symbol, which is positioned right above the Tungsten Ingot Chest, and destroy the evil artifact.
Stoneburgh
There is a cave to the north of Stoneburgh and southwest of Hemthorpe where another Cursed Symbol resides. Upon entering the cave, you’ll spot a large stone that needs moving. First, relocate the smaller rock on its base to make it possible to shift the larger stone. Continue through the corridor, navigating past a gas cloud to find another chamber with a second gas cloud and the Cursed Symbol high above. Destroy the artifact to complete this section.
Thynghowe
North of Thynghowe, you’ll encounter a ruined tower with a barred door. The Cursed Symbol lies just behind this door, which is located under a massive ice roof. Climb into the tower to access it, then destroy the symbol to earn the reward.
Roman Artifacts
There are 2 Roman Artifacts in Snotinghamscire.
Southern Fast Travel Point
Head northwest of Ulkerthorpe Fort to find a ruined tower. At the base of the tower, you’ll notice a pile of rocks under which the Roman Artifact is buried. Clear the rocks to retrieve the collectible.
Ulkerthorpe Fort
Head west from the southern Fast Travel Point to uncover some ruins containing a Roman Artifact. Locate a central pool of water with a statue in front of it. Jump into the pool and begin your descent. At the bottom, locate the roof of a sunken room and search the area for a wooden wall. Smash through this wall to access and collect the Roman Artifact.
Snotinghamscire Hoard Map
Here’s how to find the Snotinghamscire Hoard Map and the location of the Treasure based on its description.
Treasure Hoard Map Location
The map is located in the Abandoned Library, which lies east of Hemthorpe in Snotinghamscire. Upon arriving, you will encounter old ruins that conceal the map’s hiding spot. Search for a weak wooden wall on the ground. Smash this obstacle to reveal a staircase leading underground.
Descending the stairwell, you need to clear away debris and slide through a narrow passage. Make your way forward, and you’ll spot the Hoard Map waiting for you. With this clue in hand, you are ready to track down the hidden treasure in the southern part of the region.
The map gives you a poetic clue to guide your search for the treasure. It reads as follows:
“My iridescence has moved from the diocese. To the south of Snotinghamscire you can find me. Simply venture into the eye of the forest, Minninglow. Look past the forgotten stone portals and past the top of the hill. You will find me ambushed by a family of trees. There my luster lingers. – The Voice of Saint Eanfleda”
Treasure Spot Location
Decoding this, you’ll discover that the treasure is hidden in the forested area of Minninglow, west of its marker on the in-game map. Zoom in, and you’ll see the region northwest of Repton. Here, you’ll locate a well surrounded by corpses. It may be a creepy sight, but this is exactly where the treasure lies. Once you reach the well, interact with it to secure the treasure.
Follow this guide to complete all Artifact Collectibles within Snotinghamscire, enhancing your progress and unlocking achievements in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Each artifact has been outlined with clear instructions to ensure a streamlined and enjoyable hunt.
