The Key Ingredient – Starfield Ryujin Industries Mission Walkthrough

Mission text:
“Dalton told me Masako wanted to see me in Veena’s office on the Research and Development floor. I should go speak with her.”

To meet with Masako, head to the Elevator of Ryujin Industries and go to the “Research and Development” floor. You can already see her in a ground floor office as you exit the elevator. Go over and talk to her. She’s missing a shipment and I have to retrieve it.

Mission text:
“I need to travel to the moon Carinae III-a in the Carinae System, then find out what happened to the station and locate the rothicite shipment.”

Head to your ship and travel to Carinae II-a. On the starmap it is in the far northwest of Neon. Land at CM Station RC-1.

Mission text:
“I’ve landed on Carinae III-a. I need to enter the Consolidated Mining station and make my way to the research and control tower through the mine.”

Exit your ship to go to the mine’s entrance. Be aware that there are hostiles.

Enter the main building and head downstairs. There is an elevator down to the mine.

Mission text:
“I need to find out what happened to the station personnel and location the rothicite shipment.”

Follow the marker and work yourself through the mine, following the path, fighting the hostiles. Just to the point where you reach an elevator.

Take the elevator further down. Enter this room. There are a couple of Ecliptic hostiles.

Search the body of the strongest Ecliptic and you will find Contract Orders. Read the file in your inventory under “Notes”. You now know what happens and where the Rothicite is. You can also get the same information from a computer in this room.

Leave the mine through the emergency exit at the back of the room.

Mission text:
“Infinity LTD hired Ecliptic to find the rothicite shipment and reroute it to the Clinic. They left no one alive. I need to get to the Clinic to retrieve the shipment and bring it back to Veena.”

Go to your ship and fly to The Clinic in the Narion System. The Narion System is southeast of the mine in the starmap. Dock and enter the Clinic once you arrived.

Mission text:
“I arrived at The Clinic. I need to figure out where the rothicite shipment is and discover why Infinity LTD sent it here.”

When you follow the marker, a guard will stop you right at the doors to the Secure Wing. You can Persuade him or use a “Medicine” answer to get through. But there is also another option…

Ari Miller in the center of The Clinic is an administrator. Talk to him and tell him that you need access to the secure wing. He will give me a hint that the guard likes Doctor Osian.

You then get the communication option to Lie: Dr. Osian sent me… – which is mean, but effective. Anyhow… as soon as he’s gone you can pick the Novice Door and enter.

Inside, enter the room with the two mission markers. The doctor at the entrance will start a conversation with you. You can give him a medicine related answer, lie or persuade him after you’ve asked what was going on here. If you succeed, he will give you the answer to what LTD is doing at the clinic.

After the conversation you can retrieve the Rothicite Shipment. It’s on the desk in a suitcase.

Mission text:
“I retrieved the rothicite shipment and discovered Infinity LTD was performing unauthorized human trials in the Clinic. I need to report back to Veena and Masako.”

Travel back to Neon and return to the Ryujin Tower’s Research and Development to talk to Veena. Give her the shipment.
Masako will talk to you right after. She’ll order you to head up to executive, continuing with the “SABOTAGE” Mission.
