Spider-Man 2 Midtown Spider-Bots and 100% Completion Guide

Midtown Activities Map

The in-game map with all 11 Midtown activities marked. Midtown sits in the center of Manhattan and borders Central Park, the Upper East Side, Hell’s Kitchen and Chinatown. Click the map to open it in full size.

All Midtown activities are introduced during the main story. They reward you with Tech Parts, Rare Tech Parts and City Tokens, and a full district completion adds extra Hero Tokens. Some activities can also be started from the FNSM App, and finishing every activity across New York unlocks new suits.

All 3 Midtown Spider-Bot Locations

There are 3 Spider-Bots in Midtown: Spider-Monkey on the Empire State Building, Spider-Punk in the north and Spider-UK near the southern border. They never show on the big map, but send out a pulse and sound cue when you get close.

Spider-Monkey Spider-Bot

Location: South side of the Empire State Building

Swing over to the Empire State Building. The Spider-Monkey Spider-Bot sits on the southern side of the tower.

Spider-Punk Spider-Bot

Location: North-facing wall of a tall building in northern Midtown

Head to the northern part of Midtown and find one of the tallest buildings there. The Spider-Punk Spider-Bot crawls on the wall facing north.

Spider-UK Spider-Bot

Location: Building wall near the southern border of Midtown, towards Greenwich

Near the southern border of Midtown, on the way to Greenwich, the Spider-UK Spider-Bot crawls on the side wall of a building.

Both Midtown Marko’s Memories

There are 2 of Marko’s Memories in Midtown: Fade to Black in the east and Imprisoned in the southwest. Look for the swirling sand to spot the crystals.

Fade to Black

Location: Rooftop in the eastern part of Midtown

The Fade to Black memory crystal sits on top of a roof in the eastern part of Midtown.

Imprisoned

Location: Alley in the southwestern corner of Midtown

The Imprisoned memory crystal is in the southwestern corner of the Midtown map, down an alley between the buildings.

Both Midtown Photo Ops

There are 2 Photo Ops in Midtown. Swipe up on your controller to open photo mode and move the camera until “Subject in Focus” appears, then take the picture. The Photo Ops of all other districts are in the Photo Ops guide.

Audition Piece Photo Op

Location: Entrance of the Radio City Music Hall

A man with a funny hat stands at the entrance of the Radio City Music Hall. Take a picture of him to complete Audition Piece.

We Haven’t Forgotten Photo Op

Location: Oscorp building in the northwestern corner of Midtown

Head over to the Oscorp building in the northwest of Midtown. There are still protesters in front of it. Take a picture of them to complete We Haven’t Forgotten.

Midtown FNSM Request

Photo Help

Location: Center of Midtown

Photo Help is the only FNSM Request in Midtown, and you need Peter Parker for it. When you arrive at the marker, you can switch to Peter. Mina wants to recreate the candid Spider-Man picture Peter took years ago. Interact with the picture to relive the moment it was taken.

In the flashback, ride the bike down the road to the park while talking to Jameson. In the park, beat up the thugs, check on the civilian and pick up the picture from the ground near the bike. Then run to the Daily Bugle and deliver the photo to Jameson. This takes Peter back to Mina in the present, where he poses for a photo to finish the request.

Midtown Prowler Stash

Location: Rooftop with the Braxton sign in the northeastern corner of Midtown

The Prowler Stash is in the top right corner of the Midtown map. Look for a purple glow on a rooftop.

How to Open the Midtown Prowler Stash

Scan the area with R3, then hold L2 to uncover the first code. Find the American flag on the side of the building and the Braxton sign. Perch on the flag and scan the Braxton sign. Move both sticks into the highlighted areas and hold them there until the code stabilizes.

Stay on the flag and yank the Braxton sign towards you with L1 + R1. This reveals a vent entrance. Enter the vent with L2 + R2.

Get Past the Lasers and Fans

Inside the vent, avoid the two moving laser beams as you crawl forward. At the end is a spinning fan. Stop it with your webs (R1) before you move through.

Keep following the shaft past more moving lasers and stop the second fan with your webs to get through. After it, a few more moving lasers are waiting before the end of the shaft.

Collect the Prowler Stash

The vault safe is at the end of the shaft. Pick up the stash and leave through the vent hatch on the other side.

Midtown Mysterium

The Invisible Enemy Mysterium

Location: Center north of Midtown

Goal: Perform 6 Finishers (Triangle + Square) as quickly as possible.
Gold: under 2:10
Silver: under 2:40
Bronze: over 2:40

Midtown Unidentified Target

Location: Tall glass office building in the southwestern corner of Midtown

Look for three metal birds circling a tall glass office building in the southwest of the district. Get to the roof and interact with the transmitter. Then follow the bird through the wind canal before it escapes. In the slipstream, you only need to steer left and right to keep up.
