Rise of the Ronin Tobe Map

All collectibles show up on your map once you reach Area Bond Level 3 in Tobe. You raise the Area Bond by restoring Public Order, raising Veiled Edge Banners and finding collectibles. Nothing in Tobe is missable, so you can also come back after the story.

Tobe Veiled Edge Banners

Veiled Edge Banners are save and fast travel points. As soon as you restore a Public Order, the banners are revealed on the map.

1. Big Estate Veiled Edge Banner

Location: The big estate in the center of Tobe

This banner stands at the big estate in the center of the region. Restore the Big Estate Public Order first, which unlocks the banner automatically.

2. Abandoned Farm Veiled Edge Banner

Location: Abandoned farm in the southwest corner, at the border to Ota

In the southwestern corner of the map, at the border to the Ota Region, you find an abandoned farm with a Veiled Edge Banner. The Abandoned Farm Treasure Chest is right next to it.

Tobe Public Order Event

Public Order events are areas occupied by enemies. Defeat all of them to restore order, raise your Area Bond and reveal the Veiled Edge Banners on the map.

Big Estate Public Order

Location: The largest estate in the center of Tobe

Bandits take over the largest estate in Tobe during this Public Order event. Despite its size, there are only five enemies, one of them a formidable foe. Beat them all to unlock the Big Estate Veiled Edge Banner.

Tobe Fugitives – Unconfinable Ushimatsu and Seisho Aburi

Fugitives are bounty targets you have to track down and defeat. You need 50 of the 91 Fugitives in the game for the Keeper of the Peace trophy.

1. Unconfinable Ushimatsu at the Iseyama Kotai Shrine

Location: In front of the Iseyama Kotai Shrine in the north of Tobe

Unconfinable Ushimatsu waits in front of the Iseyama Kotai Shrine Landmark, so you can grab both in one visit.

2. Seisho Aburi

Location: Inside one of the farmhouses in the south of Tobe

Seisho Aburi is a level 12 fugitive and the last one in Tobe. He is hiding inside one of the farmhouses in the south of the region.

Seisho Aburi Locked? Continue with Mission

Depending on how many fugitives you have caught, Seisho Aburi can be locked with the message “Continue with Mission”. Keep hunting the other fugitives in the area and come back later to take him down.

Iseyama Kotai Shrine Landmark

Location: Northern part of Tobe

Landmarks are important places you only have to visit. Tobe has one, the Iseyama Kotai Shrine. While you are there, defeat the Fugitive Unconfinable Ushimatsu in front of it and grab the Graceful Greatsword chest in the storehouse behind the shrine.

How to Get to the Tobe Shrine

Location: On top of a hill south of the Big Estate Veiled Edge Banner

The Shrine sits on top of a hill, south of the Big Estate Veiled Edge Banner. Renegades surround it, so defeat them before you pray at the Shrine.

Tobe Cat Locations

Cats are real cats you need to pet, not statues. Listen for meowing, which means one is close. Calico cats run off if you are noisy, so sneak up on them. You need all 100 cats in the game for the Cats Over All trophy, and you can trade them for rewards at the cat vendor in Yokohama.

1. Southern Farm Cat

Location: On the tower of the large farm in the south of Tobe

There is a large farm in the southern part of Tobe. The cat is perched on the tower, so use the grapple points and your hook to reach the top.

2. Northwestern Tower Calico Cat

Location: On top of the tower in the northwest of Tobe

The second cat is on top of the tower in the northwest. You go there during the Grassroots Mission When Clouds of Vengeance Part. It is a Calico cat, so crouch all the way up to it or it runs away.

Tobe Treasure Chests – Graceful Greatsword and Scroll of Intellect

Treasure Chests are big chests hidden in the region. Tobe has two of them, and both take a little extra effort to get to.

1. Iseyama Kotai Shrine Storehouse Chest – Graceful Greatsword

Location: Top floor of the white storehouse behind the Iseyama Kotai Shrine

Look for the white storehouse behind the Iseyama Kotai Shrine Landmark. The door on the ground floor is locked from the inside. Approach from the shrine grounds and stand on the outer wall of the shrine to reach the wooden scaffolding of the storehouse. It leads to an open window you can climb through.

The chest is on the top floor. Destroy all the pottery to find it, then open it to get the Graceful Greatsword.

2. Abandoned Farm Chest – Scroll of Intellect

Location: Barricaded farmhouse in the southwest corner, next to the Abandoned Farm banner

In the southwestern corner of the map, near the Abandoned Farm Veiled Edge Banner, is a barricaded, abandoned farmhouse. Use the Sub-Weapon Fire Pipe to destroy the barricade and open the chest inside for the Scroll of Intellect.
