Lost in the Past Fieldwork Quest Guide Indiana Jones

The “Lost in the Past” Fieldwork starts after completing the “A Study in Fear” Fieldwork. It begins when Indy talks to Uncle Sunan to continue the main adventure, “The Blessed Pearl,” in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. In this quest, you’ll collect 9 Notes and earn 800 Adventure Points as a reward.

After completing the “A Study in Fear” Fieldwork Quest, talk to Uncle Sunan again. He has another story to share, this time about a girl who encountered a demon in a cave and was given a fishing hook. Indiana Jones sets out to find the cave.

To reach the cave, take a boat to the northwestern dock, located just west of the central restricted area known as “Wat Sa Si.” Head northwest from there, and you’ll soon see some white tents.

Note 1 – Moon Card

Explore the temple ruins and head to the prominent structure with the towers, Wat Sa Si. Find two green chairs nearby to pick up the Moon Card. Don’t forget to take a photo of Wat Sa Si for the Field Notes while you’re there.

Note 3 – Bangkok Postcard

You can find this Postcard in the Wat Sa Si camp, located in the northwest part of the map. It’s inside the tent with the radio. In the same tent, you’ll also find a Transmission Card for the Royal Army Transmissions Discoveries Quest and a medicine bottle for the “A Remedy for All” Discoveries Quest.

At the back of the camp, you’ll see a sturdy brick wall with statues. Near the wooden boxes, there’s a crawlspace you can use to get to the other side. There, you’ll find an entrance to the ruins with a running generator.

Note 4 – Ghost Report

A Ghost Report is sitting on one of the boxes near the entrance.

Note 6 – Nephilim Stone Construction

In the next chamber, you’ll find the Nephilim Stone Construction in the center. Indiana Jones notices a strange pulse coming from it. Touch the stone to continue. You can also find an Ancient Relic here for the “Riddles of the Ancients” Discoveries Quest.

After the cutscene, Indy appears to be back at Marshall College. Follow the music to figure out what’s happening. Take a picture of the “Hamilton Hall Doors” to move forward. In the next corridor, you’ll meet Father Antonio, but he doesn’t have much to say.

Moving forward, Indy encounters another version of Antonio, who, once again, doesn’t share much information. Further ahead, Indy meets a third Antonio, this time with a record player. Antonio asks if Indy thinks he’s currently in his college.

Enter Indy’s office, where Markus is waiting to give you a letter called “Letter from the Past.” Leave the office and find another Marcus Brody in the corridor to talk to. The corridor now appears overgrown with plants. Follow the corridor until you reach a classroom on the right. Go inside and pick up the medallion. Marcus will enter the classroom. Place the medallion on the right spot on the table and talk to Marcus again. He will mention that a photograph was attached to the letter.

Note 7 – “Heh-zam-eesh”

The photo shows how to arrange three artifacts on the table. Place the medallion on the right. Find the head and the cat mummy in the classroom, and position them as shown in the photo. This will reveal an Adamic word on the blackboard. Take a picture of it.

Description
“The Adamic word for “rebirth”.”

Head back to the corridor, where you’ll spot a tall, heavy man in the distance. Follow him, and you’ll find Nawal around the corner. Speak with her to learn more. As you move further, you’ll hear Gina talking behind a door, but there’s no way to reach her. Keep going down the corridor until the doors slam shut behind you. You’ll encounter Nawal again around the corner. Continue along the corridor, and you’ll meet Nawal for a third time. After that, a door will open, and you’ll hear a phone ringing. Answer it to trigger a cutscene.

Note 8 – “Gira’ahn-matu”

Nawal reaches the door. Make sure to grab the Adamic note from the desk before leaving.

Walk through the corridor until you reach a pedestal with a note on it. The note, written by Ernesto, mentions that there is a price to pay and asks you to meet him in room eleven. Indy points out that there isn’t a room eleven. Keep moving through the corridor. In one room, you’ll hear Voss speaking. Continue until you find Marcus Brody again. He will show you a poster on the wall. Examine it, though you won’t be able to take it with you.

Walk down the corridor until you reach a room with an open door. Inside, you’ll find Father Antonio sitting in front of the Sacred Wounds Puzzle. Take the wine bottle and pour it into the bowl, just like you did before with the Sacred Wounds Puzzle. Enter the same code as before. Here it is:

The mural opens, revealing a staircase leading to a room. Inside, you’ll find Marion’s journal once again. Pick it up to discover a note from Gina: “Don’t get lost in the past.”

You’ll wake up in an overgrown room, still inside Marshall College. The room is completely upside down. Marcus is there—talk to him before leaving. The college corridor is also upside down and overrun with plants. As you walk through the corridor, you’ll come across a white pedestal with the Roman numeral V (5). Take it and keep moving forward down the corridor, but don’t dive! Eventually, you’ll find Brody again. He’ll be standing next to another pedestal, this one has the numeral X (10). This is the one you need.

Note 9 – “Heh’k-dashu”

Indy needs to meet Ernesto in Room 11. Look for a room with a “1” that resembles an “I,” where you can place the X. Once inside, you’ll find another symbol to photograph. Brody explains that this symbol represents the word for “temple.”

Description
“The Adamic word for “temple.”

Leave the room and you’ll find a pedestal with Indy’s hat on it. Pick it up, but be ready—a big enemy will attack you. Quickly turn around and run until you wake up back in the cave.

Rotate the components of the Nephilim Stone Construction, specifically the prayer wheel, until the symbols match. The order shown in the Journal doesn’t match the stone, so keep turning the wheel until Indy speaks and explains the meaning of the correct symbol in place.
