Intel: Eavesdropping is a Toshara Intel quest in Star Wars Outlaws tied to the Crimson Dawn faction. It sends you to eavesdrop on a conversation in the Crimson Dawn District of Mirogana City, then retrieve a hidden recording device from Makal’s Gambling Parlor before making a faction choice that affects your standing. This Star Wars Outlaws walkthrough covers where to start the quest, the exact location of the hidden device, and what happens when you make your choice. You’ll need at least a neutral standing with the Crimson Dawn to begin.

Where to start the Intel: Eavesdropping?
Head to the Crimson Dawn District in Mirogana City on Toshara. Near the computer terminals by the landing pad, position Kay against the highlighted terminal to eavesdrop on the conversation between two individuals. Once the intel is captured, the quest updates with the location of a recording device hidden inside Makal’s Gambling Parlor. Note that the NPCs may occasionally glitch and disappear – the intel still registers regardless.
Where is the Hidden Device at Makal’s Gambling Parlor?
From the main entrance of Makal’s Gambling Parlor, ignore the main seating area and head to the corridor on the right, next to the turbo-lift leading up to Gorak. The hidden recording device is under a table at the back of this corridor on the right-hand side. Two Pyke Syndicate members are seated nearby – approach the table and interact with it to pick up the device without drawing attention.
Make your Faction Choice and finish the Quest
Picking up the device immediately triggers a confrontation: the Pyke at the table asks Kay what she found. You now face a faction choice that affects your reputation in Star Wars Outlaws. Give the device to the Pykes to gain Pyke Syndicate standing, or lie and keep it to deliver to the Crimson Dawn for Crimson Dawn standing. Either choice completes the Intel: Eavesdropping quest.
