Find a Way Into Apartment 23

After the call with Tyler, find a brightly lit blue door with a yellow “Eviction Notice” warning. Open the door and go upstairs.

When you reach the top of the stairs from the building entrance, go straight into an open room filled with garbage. Look for a door blocked by planks. Break through the planks by punching them to proceed.

Hidden Apartment Steal:

100$ – Main Room: On top of a broken cabinet.

100$ – Main Room: In front of the bathroom door, near statue.
50$ – Bathroom, next to the “Lucky Key”.

Important Item: Lucky Key 1

Lucky Key 1 – In the Bathroom of the “Hidden Apartment”.

The “Hidden Apartment” features two windows: one opens to the balcony while the other remains boarded up. Remove the boards, step out, and proceed cautiously to the left, leading you to the rooftop. This space unveils another secret.

Back at the “Hidden Apartment” exit through the makeshift ramp and the balcony. Break through the boards covering the window to access the Courtyard.

Head outside and ascend the fire escape stairs. Once at the top, engage with the ladder on your left to lower it. You can access the Dealer’s Apartment through here. Remove the wooden boards from the window and carefully crouch into the apartment. Prior to proceeding, utilize the ladder to descend to the ground level. There, atop a large box, you’ll find a key collectible (Story Item: Lucky Key).

Facing the door behind you, a heart-marked door is to your right – where the basketball court is. Further ahead, there’s a gated entrance, a red table adorned with flowers, and a story collectible (Gardener’s Recording) nestled in a flower pot.

Unlock the barred gate using a Lucky Key discovered earlier to access the room. Upon entering, seize two small packs from a shelf – totaling 200$. Proceed down the plant-filled corridor to encounter another locked door. Utilize the second Lucky Key collectible to open it. Within this room, acquire a Cassette Collectible titled “Cieszyn’s Venice,” alongside a package valued at 700$.

All items are gathered in the courtyard except for one “Secret”. Enter the basketball court (the door with the heart) and score once. Let’s proceed to explore the Dealer’s Apartment on the top floor. The key to the apartment is located to the right of the door on the initial metal shelf unit. Simply clear the boxes in that area to obtain the Key to Apartment 23.

Dealer’s Apartment

The Dealer’s Apartment has 10 rooms: A Foyer, a Corridor, a Bathroom, a Lounge, a Bonsai Room, a Kitchen, a Backroom, and three rooms in the Attic.

Objectives in the Dealer’s Apartment:
– Wipe all the Blood
– Get rid of the trash
– Collect 5 evidence
– Move the furniture back to its place (20)

Objectives in the Attic:
– Wipe all the Blood
– Dispose of trash and blood paintings
– Collect Evidence (4)

To initiate the cleaning process, access your tools menu by pressing TAB and choose the bucket. Locate a faucet in the bathroom. Position the bucket under the tap to fill it with water. Transport the bucket to the areas requiring cleaning. Prior to using the mop, you can opt for detergent and mix it with the water in the bucket. When changing the cleaning solution, transport the used bucket back to the tap and replenish it with fresh water.

1 – Foyer

Use the mop from the water-filled bucket to clear footprints and stains from the floor. Retrieve the Key Collectible: “Key to Apartment 23” from the drawer unit and remove the bloodstain. You only need to take the key if you enter through the rear entrance.

Foyer Dirt

There is only blood on the floor in the foyer. There are footsteps leading to the exit, and there is some splatter on the floor towards the corridor.

2 – Corridor

The Corridor is a bit messier. There are blood tracks and stains on the floor, on one wall, and a handprint on the windowsill. The window is also the back entrance to the apartment. You can enter it through the “Hidden Apartment”.

Corridor Dirt

There is a lot of dirt in the center of the corridor. Footprints lead to the bathroom. There is a footprint on the bathroom door. There is also a significant amount of dirt on the right wall next to the window.

3 – Bathroom

Clean the bathroom floor and sink area. Additionally, there is a bloody footprint outside the bathroom door.

Bathroom Steal:

Bathroom Dirt

There is a footprint on the bathroom door. There is also dirt on the floor and in and around the sink.

4 – Lounge

The lounge resembles a disaster zone, marked by numerous stains on the floor, walls, and ceiling, with furniture scattered haphazardly. Prioritize cleaning the furniture and items with a sponge before using a mop to avoid displacing them. If unable to return them to their original positions immediately, place them neatly in a clean corner for temporary storage. Notice the items gleam once they are cleaned.

Lounge Evidence:

Lounge Furniture:

White Pillows – Sofa in front of the TV. One of them is in the Bonsai Room.
Big Round Table – Slides into place.
Two Chairs – Next to the big round wooden table.

Lounge Dirt:

Footprints trail from one corner of the lounge toward the corridor, creating a noticeable path. The majority of the dirt is concentrated in the far corner of the room, with splatters visible on the walls and even a small amount reaching the corner of the ceiling.

Lounge Steal:

100$ – On the floor of the drawer unit next to the TV.
200$ – Two packages inside the first drawer of said drawer unit.
100$ – Second Drawer of the green sofa drawer unit.

5 – Bonsai Room

The Bonsai Room features a circular zebra-patterned carpet paired with a white round table adorned with a bonsai tree. This room introduces the use of a garbage can. Holding the garbage can causes trash to glow in a light green hue for easy identification. To clean the carpets, utilize a sponge. Remember to wipe away any handprints on the white table.

Bonsair Room Evidence:

Phone on top of the cabinet – Crime Evidence: Phone.

Bonsai Room Furniture – 2 To Move

Stereo Box – Move it back to the left of the cabinet.
Green-Yellow-Red Bong – On top of the white table.

Bonsai Room Dirt:

The area around the window looks clean at first glance, but footprints lead straight to one of the lounge couch pillows. A noticeable amount of dirt is scattered across the round center table in the Bonsai room, as well as around the stereo and center cabinet. Dirt is also visible on the wall divider leading toward the lounge.

Bonsai Room Steal:

100$ – On top of the white, round table.

6 – Kitchen

The dead body is in the kitchen. You need to move it to the car, treating it like a bag of garbage. But first, retrieve the key piece of evidence: a knife lodged in the victim’s back.

The majority of the waste is found in the kitchen. Transition to using a garbage bag and proceed to collect the highlighted items.

Secret:

Look out the window. An elevator is visible, but the window can’t be opened. Return to the Corridor, exit through the previously unbarred window mentioned in this guide. Proceed to the kitchen window from the fire escape balcony, and remove the wooden bars obstructing it. Subsequently, open the kitchen window from inside and dispose of your garbage down to the car below.

Take the elevator down. It will stop in front of a barred-up window. Punch the boards and get inside. You will unlock one of three secrets. There is a cassette on a shelf in this room (Epitaph of a Good Friend).

Kitchen Body:

One victim is lying at the door leading to the Backroom.

Kitchen Dirt:

The kitchen floor is where most of the dirt has accumulated, with a significant amount also found on the lower half of the door leading to the backroom. Additionally, two handprints are visible on the broken shelf.

7 – Backroom

The backroom features an access door leading to the attic. Open it to investigate the source of the dripping. Be prepared, as another victim may be revealed.

Backroom Body:

Open the attic door for the second victim to fall down.

Backroom Evidence:

Money on the table – Crime Evidence: Cash.

Backroom Dirt

There is still remnant blood on the floor from the kitchen. Most dirt is dripping down from the attic. All of the dirt in the backroom is located on the floor.

8 – Attic

Access the Attic via the staircase located in the Backroom. Within the Attic, you will find three rooms.

8.1 – Attic Room #1

The Attic entrance reveals a scene with bloodstains on the floor and two pieces of evidence displayed on a pinboard.

Attic Room #1 Dirt

Coming up from the backroom, the dirt is between the entrance and the center pillar. Most of it is on the floor. Most of the center pillar is also covered.

8.2 – Attic Room #2

The room containing marijuana plants also features a sink, which you can utilize along with the bucket.

8.3 – Attic Room #3

In the final room of the Attic, the pivotal scene unfolds. Within lies the third victim amidst five ominous “blood paintings.” Begin by shattering the paintings before carefully retrieving the shards with the aid of the garbage bin.

The third body is hanging in the center of the room, in front of the canvas.

Attic Room #3 Dirt

Most of the dirt in the last room of the attic is on the center canvas and the cloth surrounding it. There is also a significant amount of dirt at the backside of the canvas cloth.
