“A murderous game was secretly hosted in the Modern Art Gallery for rich VIPs to watch. It’s participants had to fight each other to the death in order to win the promised prize.”

Modern Art Museum Overview
In Nightmare mode, the Modern Art Museum takes on a distinct twist compared to Standard mode. Instead of doors, areas are now connected through portals, all converging in the “Cloud Level” room, which serves as the central portal hub. While the layout shifts slightly with this new mechanic, the individual rooms remain largely unchanged. For reference, I’ll continue to use the Standard Mission map to guide you.
For clarification:
The rooms are numbered according to the sequence in which I entered them, prioritizing doors first, followed by portals.
1 – Foyer
The Foyer serves as the expansive entrance hall, offering a glimpse of two green hands and a shimmering portal up ahead. To the left and right, two sets of closed double doors stand, granting access to the West Wing (Music Exhibition) through a locked Beige Door and to the East Wing through a locked Yellow Door. Note: The Garbage collection point is at the Cloud Level.

2 – Cloud Level
The Cloud Level is like an elevator, connecting all the portals in the Modern Art Museum with this Cloud Level Room. Here is where the bodies and garbage must be deposited and one can also find a water tap for the cleaning bucket.

3 – Furniture Exhibition
The Furniture Room, also referred to as the Red Room in the Standard Mission, can be reached via the white portal in the Cloud Level. This distinctive space is characterized by white furniture suspended from the ceiling, creating a striking visual. It now also incorporates the area formerly known as the Yellow Room from the Standard Mission. Once entirely yellow, this section has been transformed into a blend of blue and yellow. A double door within the blue and yellow area provides access to the Foyer when opened.
There are no further access doors.

The Cafeteria Staircase ascends to a balcony featuring additional seating and an exit that opens to the Upper Passage, home to the Blue Portal.

5 – Magic Doors
The “Magic Doors” area in Nightmare mode is part of the Central Exhibition room in the Standard Mission. The Magic Doors can be accessed from the Cafeteria. There are some more cafeteria tables and chairs to the left, door arches are positioned in the center of this long, corridor-like room with two bathrooms at the end, and a red door leading to the Ducks Exhibition.

6 – Upper Passage
The Upper Passage is accessible via the Cafeteria or the Blue Portal at “Cloud Level.” From this vantage point, visitors can gaze down at the East Wing, the Foyer, and the West Wing. The Upper Passage is home to the Colorful Paintings and Animal Sculptures. On the other side, one can reach the Surveillance Room and the Central Exhibition through green doors.
In addition to the Sculpture Room and the Colorful Paintings exhibition, a new door has been added in the passage connecting the two. This door leads to the “Briefing Room,” which resembles the Secret Room located above the Stage in the West Wing during the Standard Mission.

The Music Exhibition in the Nightmare Mission offers a unique layout. A portal connects the Cloud Level to the Cassette Room (1). However, the passage from the Cassette Room to the Sculpture Room is no longer present. The Surveillance Room is now accessible via the Upper Passage. From there, you can reach the former Carpet Room (3), the stage of the Cassette Room, and the Cassette Room itself.
