Rise of the Ronin A Last Request Walkthrough – Good Ending and Rewards

Step 1: Talk to the Beggar in Noge

The mission starts in the south of Noge, close to the southernmost Veiled Edge Banner. Look for a thin, frail beggar standing outside a house.

He left his daughter Risa in a geisha house years ago and never came back for her. Now that his health is failing, he wants to see her one last time, even if only in a photograph. Accept his request to start the hunt.

Step 2: Save the Woman in Yoshida-Shinden

Follow the marker to a road in Yoshida-Shinden, where bandits are harassing a woman. Defeat them and talk to her. She used to work with Risa as a geisha.

Good or Bad Ending: Which Choice to Pick

When she asks what happened to Risa, this answer decides the ending. For the good ending, pick “There’s something I need to tell her”, which needs the Persuade skill. She tells you a foreign merchant bought out Risa’s contract and gives you his address.

Pick “Her father’s looking for her” instead and you end up on the fake photo route below.

Fake Photo Route (Bad Ending)

On this route the woman offers to pose as Risa. Take her photograph and bring it to the beggar. He can tell it is not his daughter, but thanks you anyway, and the mission ends there.

Step 3: Rescue Risa at the Mansion

The address leads to a grand mansion southeast of the road. Thugs have taken over the grounds, so defeat all of them to reach Risa.

Step 4: Photograph Risa and Return to the Beggar

Tell Risa her father sent you. She is angry that he abandoned her, so pick “It’s your father’s dying wish”, which again needs Persuade. Then take her photograph.

Bring the photo back to the beggar in Noge to complete the mission.

A Last Request Rewards

Both endings give you the Sword Master’s Odachi, a Beckoning Cat, a Foreign Book and the Loving Family title. Finding the real Risa also gets you the European Dandy’s Kit and a Gardenia Fruit.
