In this Star Wars Outlaws walkthrough, I’ll lead you through the Main Quest: The Safecracker. Kay travels to the Kijimi System to find a Safecracker for the Heist at Sliro’s Mansion. Follow along as I travel to Kijimi,
Key Quest Steps:
2 – Where is Ank, the Safecracker?
-> How to sneak into the Ashiga Clan District, and find a terminal to slice.
3 – How to Steal the Relic back from Crimson Dawn?
4 – Escape from the Wellspring and finish the Quest
-> Grab the relic and take it to the Queen.
1. Travel to Kijimi
Hyperjump to the Kijimi System and land on at the Kijimi Spaceport. Kay and the crew are looking for Ank, the best safecracker in the Outer Rim. A welcoming committee, a group from the Ashiga Clan, will wait outside of the ship at the spaceport exit. After the conversation, your Reputation section in the in-game menu will be updated by adding the Ashiga Clan.
The Safecracker – Quest Objectives
“Kay is looking for the safecracker named Ank, but Kijimi is deeply affected by a civil war between the ruling Ashiga Clan and Crimson Dawn operatives. It seems like getting Ank out will be complicated.”
2. Where is Ank, the Safecracker?
Next, head to the Domak Refectory Cantina located at the top northeastern corner of the Kijimi map. Inquire with the bartender about Ank, the safecracker. The bartender will inform Kay that the Ashiga Clan has apprehended Ank and brought her to the factory to settle the credits she owed them.
Kay needs to sneak into the Ashiga Clan District in Kijimi City to learn about Ank’s whereabouts. Head to “Queen’s Road” in the city’s south. Near the Queen Ashiga Statue and the main gate with two guards, you can slip through an opening in the wall just to the right, next to the two guards, depicted in the screenshots below.
Head towards the building with the large radar dish on the roof – that’s your target. One of the guards nearby has the keycard for the front door, but you can skip this by handling the guards and lockpicking the side entrance. Inside the room marked with the “Noki’s Stash” pin, hack the terminal to find Ank. There’s a collectible (Jet’s Journal – #8 Ashiga Clan) on the table and Noki’s Stash, the Treasure Box beside it.
The terminal had no details on Ank’s location but mentioned a relic stolen by Crimson Dawn from the Ashiga Clan, causing tension in Kijimi City. New plan: Retrieve the relic for the Ashiga Clan and request Ank’s release as a reward. ND-5 suggests looking for it at “The Wellspring”, a private club in the thermal district.
3. How to Steal the Relic from Crimson Dawn?
Next destination in this guide: Locate an entry point into the Wellspring to retrieve the relic. “The Wellspring” is situated in the thermal district to the northeast of Kijimi City.
The entrance is well guarded. But there is a passage around the building to the right.
At the back of the building, there’s an access shaft with an open vent that you can use to enter.
Follow the shaft and drop down into the kitchen. Take care of the guard at the counter and go through the only available door by lockpicking it. You will enter the first floor of the mezzanine area of a big room, where Kay can look down at an exhibit that seems to be the stolen relic.
The area is heavily guarded. Enter the room and quietly move to the left. You’ll find a door locked with a keycard. Obtain the card from a guard on the ground floor or pick the lock on the other side to gain entry.
In this room, use the computer to deactivate the forcefield around the relic and take it.
4. Escape from the Wellspring and Finish the Quest
The Bann Pu’dira relic has been stolen by Kay, which means the Crimson Dawn at the Wellspring will be on high alert. To leave the exhibition room, use the main staircase on the ground floor to reach a well-lit exit. This path leads to a large inner courtyard teeming with Crimson Dawn guards. If they see you, you’ll need to fight your way to the other side.
The round door is locked and can only be picked when not in combat. Inside the room are four round, wooden bathtubs. Across from a chest, there is a vent you can use to escape the Wellspring.
The final step in this guide is straightforward: head to the Ashiga Clan Stronghold in the southern part of Kijimi City and talk to the guard. They will allow you to meet the queen, who will gladly receive the relic. Queen Ashiga pledges to release Ank if Kay cooperates. Although her daughter Krisk appears to have different intentions, Queen Ashiga dismisses her.
Completing the quest boosts your reputation with the Ashiga while decreasing it with Crimson Dawn.
