Find Woodrow’s House

Woodrow’s House is in the south-east of the spaceship landing zone. Follow the row of coins downward toward the large house. A Medician enemy is guarding the path – defeat it to continue. The Spark Glitter joins your team after the fight. Once it does, enter the house.

Take the Secret Passage in Woodrow’s House

The secret entrance is at the bookshelf beneath the staircase. Go through it and the Spark Twinkle will join your team, giving you the light ability.

Use the yellow Scan Power to build a bridge over the first chasm. The bridge stays in place, so there’s no need to rush. Continue forward and look for a blue pressure plate. To the right there’s a box, but you need to build a bridge with the yellow Scan Power first to reach it. Once the bridge is in place, pull the box onto the pressure plate.

The Darkmess Barrier disappears. Head right to fight the Battle of the Blight at the End of the Tunnel. After the battle, keep going right and build bridges over chasms whenever the path requires it.

Go Through the Tunnel to Paletteville

The next Darkmess Barrier appears soon after. The only route is down to an area with a green and a red pressure plate. Stand between the two plates and use the yellow Scan Power to make a box appear.

Move that box onto the red pressure plate. Then go up, stand between the two barriers again, and use the light ability a second time to create another box. Position yourself behind it and let it drop down onto the green pressure plate. With both plates covered, climb the ladder and take the stairs up.

Reach Paletteville’s Main Plaza

At Paletteville, walk up the path marked by coins. After the cutscene plays, fight the Tentacle enemy to rescue Bowser and complete The Fallen King quest.
