“Accidents Happen” is the follow-up Mission of “SOWING DISCORD” for the Ryujin faction in Starfield. This is the step-by-step walkthrough.
After taking care of Arthur Cruz and Zola Adisa in the Astral Lounge, Imogene has a next Mission for me.
1. TRAVEL TO HOPETECH
Mission text:
“I need to travel to HopeTech on Polvo in the Valo system to plant an ARC device.”
HopeTech is a shipbuilder and vendor in the Valo system. They sell big cargo ships.
I did this Mission after I became a Ranger and paid HopeTech a visit on a Ranger Mission. It could well be that access is easier after they’ve seen me as a Ranger.
Travel to Hopetech on Polvo, Valo System. It’s northwest of Neon on the starmap and enter the building.
2. PLANT THE ARC DEVICE
Mission text:
“I need to plant the ARC device I was given in HopeTech. I should be careful and not get caught.”
Inside Hopetech, you have to get to the hangar in the back. There are doors at the back of ground level, but also a door in the top CEO’s office.
Head to the hangar and follow the mission marker to a spacecraft. There is an open door you can use to get inside.
Inside, climb the ladder to get to the second floor. There is a guard patrolling the area. Make sure to plant the ARC when he’s moving away from you.
3. RETURN TO IMOGENE AT RYUJIN TOWER
Mission text:
“I successfully planted the ARC device. I need to return to Imogene at Ryujin Tower to let her know.”
Return to Imogene at Ryujin Tower. She’s on the “Operations” floor. She will give you to the next Mission: “MAINTAINING THE EDGE“.
