Southern Wilds Nornir Chest

The Nornir Chest is on the path in the very north of The Southern Wilds. You can’t miss it. To open the chest, you have to find three runes with shields on top of them. Throw the axe to rotate them and set the correct runes.

“C” Rune

For the “C” Rune, look up left of the Nornir Chest. Throw the axe to one of the shields above the rune to get the C Rune.

“R” Rune

Go back to the south and the cave passage you came from to get to the Nornir Chest. Left above the cave entrance is the overgrown rune. Left of it there is even more burning material. You can set it on fire from there. This will clear the rune and you can set it to “R”.

“n” Rune

The “n” Rune is on the other side, but overgrown with plants. You can burn them from below with your blades before you set it to the “n” Rune.

In the ruins of The Southern Wilds is a crawl space on the ground floor, northern wall. Enter it and follow the path to the Legendary Chest.

1 – Kvasir’s Poems – Upon Pursuing a Place not Marked on Maps

It could well be that you have picked up this Artifact in the story: Go to the ruins in the centre of The Southern Wilds. You can break through a floor by grappling it and burst into it. The Artifact is lying in this pit.

Southern Wilds Odin’s Ravens

In the west of the map, across the river, is a raven flying its circles. Follow its path, then wait for it to come around and throw the spear before is gets to the point where you’re waiting.

Southern Wilds Hel Tear

Just north of the THE SOUTHERN WILDS – MYSTIC GATEWAY is a Hell Tear from Garm. Interact with it to fight and close it.
