All Wealth Locations in Paris
There are 9 Wealth Collectibles in Paris, Francia.
Defender’s Rest
Contains: Paladin Chainmail
Defender’s Rest is located in the northern part of Paris near the river. Inside the building, you’ll find a chest on the top floor, secured behind a barricaded door. To access this room, you can either use the ground floor entrance or climb through an open window at the back of the house. The key required to unlock the chest is underground. Look for an access point just beneath the open window near the water. Head inside, and you’ll find the key on a table in a back room. With the key in hand, you can return to the barricaded door to claim the Paladin Chainmail.
Flooded Slums
Contains: Skythe of Tribulation
The Scythe of Tribulation is located in the southeastern part of the Paris slums, within an open crypt. Inside, you’ll encounter a flooded staircase leading to the basement. Dive into the water and swim through to reach the other side. Be prepared to deal with rats in the next room by climbing the walls to avoid them. You’ll find the chest containing the scythe in this room. Look for a slide-through passage near a barred door to access it. The barred door will serve as your exit from this area.
Grand Chatelet
Contains: Tungsten Ingot
Grand Chatelet is situated in northern Paris. The chest containing the Tungsten Ingot can be found at the top of the tower. To unlock it, you’ll need a key, which is carried by a guard in the area. Search the guards around the tower to locate the key, then climb to the top to retrieve the ingot.
La Grève
Contains: Paladin Bracers
La Grève is in the northeastern part of Paris. Inside a large building, you’ll find the chest on the first floor, behind a locked door. The key to this chest is also on the same floor, though it’s initially unreachable. To obtain it, shoot the door’s barricade through a grated door. Once the barricade is removed, circle around the building to access and pick up the key. With the key in hand, return to unlock the chest and collect the Paladin Bracers.
Lutetia Bureau
Contains: Joyeuse (Short Sword)
The Lutetia Bureau is in the southwestern part of Paris Town. Look for a square hole in the ground, surrounded by ancient pillars, and descend into it. Follow the path forward until you encounter a locked door. Near the door, read the letter to trigger a quest requiring you to collect three keys from ruins across Francia.
To find the keys, go to the following locations:
- Diodurum Ruins in Melunois, which are near the northern fast travel point. The keys will be in the same room as the Book of Knowledge.
- Gisacum Ruins in Evresin, north of Evreux.
- Champlieu Ruins in Amienois, northeast of Paris.
Once you gather the keys, return to the Bureau and open the door. Inside, you’ll find a large, two-level room with a shiny “A” on the bottom level. Destroy the wall at the end of the “A” to proceed. Oil flasks located on the upper level can be used to break the wall, though you’ll need to parkour your way down. After the wall is destroyed, you can enter the next area, defeat a group of snakes, and open the chest to acquire the Joyeuse short sword.
Manoir des Fleurs Rouges
Contains: Tungsten Ingot
The Manoir des Fleurs Rouges lies in northern Paris. West of the manor, there’s a secret entrance in the form of a ladder leading into a house. Climb down and follow the corridor until you encounter a group of rats. Chase them away, then make a left turn to reach a storage room containing the key-locked chest with the ingot. Now, you’ll need to locate the key. Inside the same room, there’s a slide-through passage blocked by a swarm of rats. Chase the rats away and move a nearby shelf in front of the drain to keep them contained. Slide through the narrow passage to reach the room with the key. Smash the pots and boxes piled in the corner to uncover it, then return to the chest to claim the ingot.
Plague District
Contains: Book of Knowledge (Plague of Rats)
The Plague District is in southern Paris by the water. The entrance to the building housing the collectible is barred, but it can be accessed by climbing up from the waterside. Inside, you’ll find an oil flask near the entrance. Down the ladder, there is a destructible floor blocking access to the Book of Knowledge. However, you’ll need to create another path since carrying flasks down ladders isn’t possible. Begin by destroying the barricade at the main door. Then, pick up the flask and carry it along a path around the building by using parkour. Once you reach the destructible floor, throw the oil flask to break through and climb down to claim the Book of Knowledge, which grants the Plague of Rats ability.
Sainte-Geneviève Church
Contains: Bellatores Robe
To find the Bellatores Robe, enter the Sainte-Geneviève Church through a balcony located on the first floor. This location also serves as the starting point for the assassination event “The Rot in the Slums,” where you meet your contact. The chest containing the robe is on the same floor inside the church. The Bellatores Robe is necessary to access the basement as part of the assassination quest.
Saint Merri
Contains: Tungsten Ingot
The final wealth collectible is hidden in the Crypt of Saint Merri, a small house located next to the church. The crypt’s entrance is locked, but the key can be found inside the church, located next to the coffin. Once inside the crypt, beware of the rats guarding the area. Chase the first group into the drain and block their entry point by placing a small shelf over it. Move a bigger shelf aside to retrieve an oil flask so you can destroy a wall and access the next room. Deal with more rats here by using torches and move another small shelf onto the drain to keep them contained. Finally, move the last big shelf aside to access the chest containing the Tungsten Ingot.
All Mysteries Locations in Paris
There are 3 Mysteries in Paris, Francia.
Offering Altar
The Offering Altar is located in the northeastern section of Paris. To complete this Mystery, you’ll need to bring two Animal Hearts as well as 100 pieces of Silver. Animal Hearts can be obtained by hunting and killing various farm animals. Search for these animals around the rural outskirts or roaming some of the farms in the area. Once you’ve gathered the required items, make your way to the altar and offer them up to complete the task.
The Ghost of Sant Germain – World Event
The Ghost of Saint Germain World Event is found in the southwestern part of Paris, south of Sigfred’s Forward Camp. Upon arrival, you’ll notice three people gathered in an open area. Speak to them, and they’ll tell you about a ghost sighting on the roof of a nearby chapel located to the southwest. Head toward the chapel and begin your investigation. Look carefully, and you’ll notice a ladder leading upward. Use your bow to shoot it down and make it accessible. Before climbing the ladder, you need to move a nearby shelf into position beneath it to get a foothold. Once the ladder is in place, climb up to reach the tower.
At the top of the tower, you’ll discover a dead body lying there. Examine the body and read the letter placed nearby to conclude the event. The mystery of the Ghost of Saint Germain will be solved, and the World Event will be marked as completed.
The King of Rats – World Event
To the northeast of Paris, east of Saint Merri, you’ll find a hidden entrance leading to this World Event. Enter the area and descend the ladder into a basement with a door. After opening the door, you’ll see an unsettling sight of rats swarming around a central stockpile. The objective is to avoid direct contact with the rats, as they can overwhelm you. Use the narrow borders along the left and right sides of the room to carefully move through the area without harm. Jump onto the pile in the center of the room and interact with the note placed there. Reading the note will successfully complete this Mystery and the World Event will be marked as solved.
All Artifacts Locations in Paris
There are 3 Artifacts in Paris, Francia
Flying Paper: Flooded Slums
The first Artifact can be found in the Flooded Slums. This Flying Paper begins its path near the area and moves toward the flooded chapel located to the east. To capture the paper, you can run along its flight path toward the chapel. Once there, climb onto the roof of the chapel and position yourself to intercept the paper as it arrives. Upon successfully catching it, you will be rewarded with the Mendicant Scheme (Back). Timing and speed are crucial for this challenge, so act quickly to secure the prize.
Flying Paper: Northeast Paris
Another Flying Paper can be found in the northeastern part of Paris, near Saint-Merri. The paper follows a path that leads directly toward the iconic Saint-Merri location. If you can sprint quickly enough, it is possible to outpace the paper and meet it at Saint-Merri before it arrives. Simply position yourself at its endpoint and grab it when it reaches you. Successfully doing so rewards you with the Oriflamme Scheme (Head). Be prepared to move quickly to complete this task with ease.
Paris Hoard Map
To locate the Hoard Map, travel to Saint-Denis in the far northern area of the Paris map. Your objective is within the church, which can only be entered by breaking through one of its barricaded side doors. Once you have destroyed the barricade from the outside, proceed inside the church where you will notice a tower. The map is positioned high up in this tower and reaching it comes with its own set of challenges.
The primary obstacle here is a swarm of rats that occupies the area. Parcouring through the environment proves to be the easiest and safest way to avoid these pests. Carefully make your way up the tower and collect the map once you reach it. The Hoard Map itself reveals a drawing, marking an “X” south of Saint-Denis in the northern part of Paris. This is your next destination for discovering the treasure.
Once you have the map, head to the location south of Saint-Denis as depicted by the drawing. Your goal is to find a barricaded well, located east of the Clever Fox Tavern in northern Paris. Upon arriving at the well, use your equipment to destroy the barricade on top. Once the path is clear, climb down into the well where you will find the hidden treasure waiting for you.
Upon retrieving the treasure, you will receive the Oriflamme Scheme (Back) as your reward for successfully completing the task. This treasure not only adds to your collection but also enhances your experience in the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, adding greater depth to your exploration of Paris.
Good luck on your adventures across Paris! With this guide, every treasure, mystery, and artifact is within your grasp. Enjoy the thrill of discovery and don’t forget to savor the rich world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla as you explore!
