Animus Anomaly: Quartzite Ridge
The Animus Anomaly puzzle can be found in the southern part of Sciropescire, at Quartzite Ridge. By interacting with the anomaly, you’ll face a series of platforming challenges. Follow the light beams to create a path and reach the end of the sequence to resolve this anomaly and unlock a piece of the greater story.
Fly Agaric
Near Dhustone Quarry, you’ll find a Fly Agaric located within what looks like a burial ground. Look for it inside a stone circle. After consuming the mushroom, activate the blue flames on each grave surrounded by a stone circle. This process will unlock a portal. Step through the portal to complete this challenge.
Flyting: Ove The Scarred
Ove The Scarred, a formidable flyting opponent, resides in Quatford. Engage in a flyting duel with this character, matching their rhyming insults with clever retorts. Once the battle of words is done, you’ll also get the chance to fight Ove. Defeat him to finish this mystery.
Legendary Animal: Beast of the Hills
The Beast of the Hills is a massive self-healing bear hidden underground at Uriconium Ruins. Locate the entry point west of the ruins; it’s a large archway leading into the mountain. Follow the path downward to encounter the bear. Use quick dodges and constant attacks to prevent it from healing. Defeat the beast to claim your reward.
World Events
There are 7 World Events in Sciropescire.
Bewitched
A boy shouts for help from within a barricaded house southeast of Wesberie. First, open the front door by heading around to the back and using your bow to shoot the barricade through a grid window. Inside, you’ll find a key that opens the back door rather than the front. There’s another locked door with a barricade inside the same room. Return outside and aim through the back of the house to shoot the second barricade blindly. Retrieve the key and liberate the boy to finish this event.
King of the Hill
Meet the self-proclaimed King of the Hill who challenges you to a duel. After defeating him, leave the area. Upon hearing his shout, return to the camp to fight him again. Repeat this process until he stops challenging you, then speak to him to bring the event to a close.
Lamb Chops
This strange world event takes place north of the large lake east of the northern Sciropescire Fast Travel Point. Merec, the quest giver, needs you to retrieve a brooch that was swallowed by one of his sheep. Start by placing a haybale near the sheep enclosure to encourage the sheep. Once they produce dung, carefully dig through each pile until you find the brooch. Return it to Merec to resolve this event.
Miracle
This event involves helping a Blind Man and a Lame Man ascend to a spring atop Titterstone Clee Hill. The Blind Man begins near a house at the base of the hill, while the Lame Man waits for assistance further up the path. Guide both to the spring and ensure they reach their destination safely to finish this touching story.
Otta, Son of Slugga
Otta’s challenge is located on the eastern side of the lake near Wenlocan Abbey. Speak to Otta’s child to initiate this archery competition. To succeed, you’ll need to shoot five targets within a 30-second timeframe. Aim quickly and precisely to impress Otta and complete this event.
Paola’s Dream
Paola’s Dream takes you west of Bomere Lake, where a man stands outside a large house. All you need to do is engage in conversation with him to conclude this simple but intriguing event.
The Puppeteer
This intriguing event starts west of Wenlocan Abbey. Investigate a locked prison cell with a dead body nearby. Examine the body and then search for the charlatan responsible, who is hiding in a nearby house. Enter the house by moving a stone shelf and breaking through the wooden wall behind it. Confront the charlatan to complete this mystery.
Solving all mysteries in Sciropescire not only adds depth to your Assassin’s Creed Valhalla experience but also provides helpful rewards and chances to explore the world more thoroughly. Armed with these detailed directions, you’re ready to take on the challenges that await. Good luck!
