Cursed Symbol
There are 3 Cursed Symbols in Oxenefordscire.
Leah Villa Garrison
Near Leah Villa Garrison, in an unnamed location to the east, lies a Cursed Object. To access it, head below ground using a northern entrance at the site. Be cautious of toxic gas as you descend. Toss a torch into the area to dissipate the gas, then climb down further. Destroy a wooden barrier at the bottom to reach the cursed object.
Evinghou Tower Southeast
To the southeast of Evinghou Tower, northeast of Ciltern Hills, another Cursed Object awaits on the larger island in a small lake. To access it, retrieve an oil jar from a smaller island and carefully carry it over to blow apart the stone barricade protecting the object. Completing this task clears the curse and adds to your progression.
Thaerelea Ruins
Deep within the Thaerelea Ruins lies another Artifact beneath the ground. Look for an entrance leading below the surface. Once down there, retrieve an oil jar to demolish a stone barricade protected by poisonous gas. Since you cannot throw the oil jar if you’re affected by the poison, tread carefully. Place the jar at the blockade, step back, and shoot it to break through. Destroy the Cursed Object to complete this task.
Flying Papers
There are 2 Flying Papers in Oxenefordscire.
Buckingham
The Flying Paper in Buckingham is located on top of the longhouse. Catching this Flying Paper rewards you with the Valhalla Blessing Scheme (Back). Stay prepared for the chase, as these papers move quickly and will test your agility.
Oxeneforda
Another Flying Paper can be found in Oxeneforda. Similar to the one in Buckingham, you’ll need to be quick to catch it. Successfully capturing the paper will add to your collection and reward you with additional customization items.
Roman Artifacts
There are 5 Roman Artifacts in Oxenefordscire.
Cyne Belle Castle Southwest
Near Cyne Belle Castle lies ruins with a barricaded door that hides an Artifact. Locate an underground passage in the adjacent ruins, which leads you to the collectible. Navigate through this area by removing a shelf, smashing a wooden barrier, and climbing a ladder before reaching the item.
Evesham Abbey East
East of the Evesham Abbey, a locked room below the temple ruins conceals an Artifact. Find the key by inspecting an old pottery corner where a moveable stone hides it. Uncover the key and unlock the chamber to retrieve the Artifact inside.
Evesham Abbey South
South of the Evesham Abbey, another Artifact can be found beneath a statue. Start by blasting open the stone barricade under the floor. Head up a rope to locate an oil jar and carefully transport it back to the barricade. Clearing it grants you access to this hidden Artifact.
Evinghou Tower
To the west of Evinghou Tower lies a Roman Artifact near a statue. Adjacent to it is a structure with a blocked shelf entrance. Begin by finding a cave entrance to the right of the structure. Inside, use your bow to shoot the pottery blocking the shelf’s movement through a window. Return to the entrance and slide the shelf inward to reveal the hidden mask.
Saint Albanes Abbey
At Saint Albanes Abbey, an Artifact can be found hidden beneath the ruins. A stone barricade blocks the way, but the solution lies in climbing the scaffolding nearby. From there, shoot the large cargo bag to demolish the barricade and claim your prize.

Once collected, you can move forward to find the treasure.

Treasure Hoard Map Oxenefordscire
Here’s how to find the Treasure Hoard Map in Oxenefordscire and the location of the Treasure based on its description.
Treasure Hoard Map Location
The first step is to locate the Oxenefordscire Hoard Map itself, hidden at Eatun Barn in the Oxenefordscire region. Within the area, you’ll notice a stone-barricaded arch that blocks your progress. To break through, seek out an oil jar nearby. Use the jar to blast away the barricade, clearing the way forward. Inside the passage, you’ll come across a large movable stone. Shift this stone aside to reveal the Hoard Map. Once acquired, the map offers a riddle-like description that hints at the treasure’s location, pushing your problem-solving skills to the forefront.
The text included on the map reads, “In the southern heaths of Oxenefordscire, there is a vast pasture. The Livestock act as my protector. They hum and haw away the evil demons. Find the peculiar tree casting its shadow on a small ruin. You can find me where the waters used to run. The lost shimmer of its wavelets still shines within me.” This cryptic clue offers key directions, pointing towards the treasure’s whereabouts south of Oxeneforda.
Treasure Spot Location
After interpreting the Hoard Map’s riddle, you’ll want to head to the southwestern portion of Oxenefordscire, specifically southeast of the settlement of Oxeneforda. The treasure itself is hidden within a small ruin that features a boarded-up well at its rear. Once you locate the site, prepare to uncover the treasure by breaking through the wooden covering at the top of the well. With the obstacle removed, you can climb down into the well, where the treasure awaits at the bottom.
