Starting the Quest – Hernand Notice Board

Bruna’s Request appears as a poster on the Hernand town notice board after you have completed both Alden’s Request and Bran’s Request. It is a Hernand Faction Quest filed under Hernand Commissions. The poster asks for someone willing to pass on a message to the Wainwright, noting the distance is short and no heavy carrying is involved. It invites anyone interested to visit the Equinsher Saddlery for details.

Bruna’s Location – Equinsher Saddlery

Bruna runs the Equinsher Saddlery, located southwest of Hernand town. Speak to her to hear her request in full: she needs you to find out how a customer feels about a new tack she has produced. After the conversation, Bruna’s Note is added to your inventory as a purple key item. Open your inventory and examine it.

Bruna’s Note reads: “The saddler works at Hernand Stable. Go ask her what she thinks about the new tack.”

Examine Bruna’s Note – Key Item in Inventory

Open your inventory and locate Bruna’s Note, shown as a purple key item. Examine it to update the quest objective. This is a required step – the quest will not advance until the note has been read.

Visit the Stable – Hernand Stable

Head to Hernand Stable in the north of Hernand town. The saddler is not there, but she has left a note behind. Look for the Saddler’s Note marked as a purple document icon on your minimap; it is behind the stable building.

Saddler’s Note reads: “I’ve stepped out for a bit on some business. If you need anything, come find me at the Royal Supply Depot.”

Visit the Royal Trading Post

Travel to the Royal Trading Post – the location where you first set up camp near the castle early in the game. Find the group of people here and speak to them. You will receive a note in your inventory labelled Royal Trading Post Note. Open your inventory and examine it.

Royal Trading Post Note reads: “So many people have been looking for me that I figured I’d just leave a note. I’m over by Lioncrest Manor right now. I’m the dwarf wearing a pink headscarf with a hammer at the belt. If you’ve got business, come find me there. The saddler.”

Get Feedback on the New Tack – Lioncrest Manor

Lioncrest Manor sits to the west of the Royal Trading Post. The dwarf saddler is inside, but the guards at the front door block entry. To get in without triggering the guards, climb the exterior of the building until you reach a closed window and open it, then climb through.

On the top floor you can discover the Lioncrest Manor Memory (found under Hernand → Clues in your memory list). To read it, use the Blinding Flash ability at the desk – Guide #110: Blinding Flash – Concentrate Light – then interact with the memory fragment – Guide #314: Memory Fragments.

The dwarf you need is downstairs in the main entrance hall. He appears as a Stranger in a white shirt. Speak to him to collect the tack feedback.

To leave without upsetting the guards, climb back out through the same window you used to enter.

Share the Feedback on the New Tack – Nas River Fishing Dock

Return to Bruna’s assistant, who is waiting at the Nas River Fishing Dock beside the river. Share the feedback you received from the dwarf to complete the quest.
