1 – Mirror Mirth

Coordinates: 138, 512

After completing all Riddler Puzzles in Tricorner and in Old Gotham South, the Mirror Mirth Puzzle Room was unlocked. It’s the third one to unlock for me after the Introduction Mirror Puzzle in Mission 4: Carmine Falcone and the Cluemaster Puzzle Room in Mission 11: Kiteman. This Puzzle Room is 1 of 7 Riddler Puzzles in The Cauldron North.

The Mirror Mirth Puzzle Room is west of the Subwayne. An indoor location marked with green arrows and pink lights.

In the first room, a lamp, a candlestick, and a radio have to be placed on the yellow bricks at the table, and a teddy needs to sit on the piano. First, move the lamp to its correct position on the left.

The teddy is on the bookshelf, place it at the piano.

For the candlestick, press the red button in this room. This will open the shutter to the storage area. The candlestick is on the floor. Put it in the table slot.

The last item is the radio. Pick up the handle next to the table in the puzzle room and use it on the elevator mechanism in the warehouse.

Move the box down and destroy the padlock. Inside is the radio. Place it in the last slot by the table. This will open the mirror door with the puzzle box behind it.

2 – Short Time Circuit

Short Time Circuit is north of the Cauldron North Subwayne. The puzzle box sits on an electrified platform that can only be reached by cutting the power briefly.

There is a lever on the other side. If you use it, the power will shut down for a short while. Get one character ready, while the other one uses the lever. Be quick and get the puzzle box before the power comes back on.

3 – Need a Breakthrough

Need a Breakthrough is northwest of Short Time Circuit. The puzzle box is sealed behind a wall that requires a crane and two different character abilities to break through.

The Need a Breakthrough Riddler Puzzle is northwest of the previous one. The puzzle box is behind a wall with a crane next to it.

There is a cart nearby that you can move to the front. Then switch to Robin or Nightwing to connect the cart with the crane by using the Cable Launcher.

Move up to the generator to charge it with Nightwing’s staff. This will break through the initial wall, revealing a wall that Batman can destroy with the Explosive Spray. Do so to find the puzzle box.

4 – The Key-side Conundrum

The Key-side Conundrum is in the west of the district, near the docks. Three keys must be collected and used on three locks to access the puzzle box behind the gate.

The Key-side Conundrum is in the west of the previous puzzle. The puzzle box is locked away behind a gate.

On the other side of the gate in the screenshot are three locks that require a key each. The first one is locked inside a puzzle box connected to three red buttons. One on the floor in front of the box, the other one on top of the nearby shipping container, and the third at the very top of the shipping container stack. Use Batman and Catwoman. When Summon a Kitty to stand on the third button. Pick up the key and use it on one of the locks.

Staying with Catwoman, there is a box hanging on a hook nearby. Use Catwoman’s Whip on the screw. The box will fall down, leaving the key behind. Use it on one of the three locks.

For the third key, head down to the dock. Use the lever, then the Whip on the crane that moved back. It will extinguish the nearby fire.

Where the fire was is a Kitty vent. Summon one to go through and fetch the last key. Use it on the last lock to get the puzzle box.

5 – Pipe Down

Pipe Down sits on top of one of ACE Chemical’s rooftop buildings, northeast of The Key-side Conundrum. The puzzle involves fixing broken pipes throughout the building to build up enough pressure to release the box.

Pipe Down is northeast of the previous puzzle, on top of one of ACE Chemical’s buildings.

This puzzle works with pressure and broken pipes. Follow the pipe to the top level. Here, you can use Batman’s Bat Claw to pull a piece of pipe to repair a spillage. Switch to Jim Gordon and stop the next pipe piece when it’s at the bottom using the Foam Sprayer.

The third pipe piece is on a cart and must be pushed into place. The last pipe is on the other side. The pieces are inside a box hanging above the broken pipe and its lever. Throw a batarang at the box, then repair the pipe with the pieces before pulling the lever.

All you need to do now is destroy the broken valve near the puzzle box and plug the hole with Jim Gordon’s Foam Sprayer. This will blow out the Puzzle Box, and you can pick it up.

6 – Tight Corner

Tight Corner is near the northern waterfront, northeast of Pipe Down. Three hidden targets must be uncovered and shot to open the puzzle box.

The Tight Corner puzzle is in the northeast of the previous puzzle, near the northern waterfront.

Follow the vent to a cover that you can pull off with Batman’s Bat Claw to reveal a target for the Batarang. Follow the second cable up to the roof. There is a box that Robin or Nightwing can pry open to reveal another target.

Follow the third cable to the end of the dock, where Robin or Nightwing can use the Cable Launcher to discover the target on a buoy. Shoot all three targets to open the puzzle box.

7 – Birdarandom

Birdarandom is the easternmost Riddler Puzzle in Cauldron North, also along the northern waterfront. A generator with blocked flaps and a shooting sequence are the two steps needed to claim the puzzle box.

Birdarandom is the last Riddler Puzzle in the Cauldron North, it’s east of the previous puzzle, also near the northern waterfront.

There is a generator with two flaps in front of the battery slot, preventing the battery from being inserted. Go to the back and push it forward. This will open the flaps.

Now you can pick up the battery and put it in the slot. Now switch to Batman and make him stand on the red button. With Robin or Nightwing, mark all three targets from right to left and shoot them to get the puzzle box.
