Legendary Animal: Steinnbjorn
Locate the Legendary Animal lurking in Steinnbjorn’s depths and brace yourself for a fierce fight. This encounter will test your combat skills as you face the imposing creature. Victory against this powerful beast earns significant rewards, adding to your prestige as a Viking warrior.
Offering Altar
The Altar of Ymir is a pivotal destination in Jotunheim. Here, you must offer 33 Ymir’s Bloodstones, which are scattered throughout the region’s Wealth Chests. Once you’ve surrendered all 33 Bloodstones, you’ll be rewarded with five Skill Points, an invaluable addition to Eivor’s abilities.
World Events
There are 4 World Events in Jotunheim.
Aegir’s Daughters
Begin your adventure in Jotunheim at Aegir’s Hall, where the “Aegir’s Daughters” World Event takes place. Inside the grand feast hall, speak to Aegir’s Daughters and engage them by asking for stories and drinks. After an eventful night, you’ll wake up curious about what transpired. Step outside and search for a large boar; scanning the area will highlight it in red. Walk toward the boar, prompting Eivor to make a comment.
Next, find a house nearby with a cart perched atop its roof. Climb up to investigate, and Eivor will offer another insightful remark. Adjacent to this house is a gigantic ale barrel with a staircase leading to its top. Inspect the broken boat floating inside the ale barrel, completing this event. While still near the feast hall, take a moment to retrieve the key to the chest located within the ale barrel. Simply swim to the bottom of the barrel to unlock it.
Pit of Slaughter
Travel to Utgard and enter the Pit of Slaughter building to meet Dugr. Speak with him to initiate the event, where you’ll battle animals in a brutal arena. Once you’ve triumphed, the Pit of Slaughter is considered complete, adding this World Event to your list of conquered Mysteries.
The Giants of Fimbulwiar
South of the imposing Enchanted Tower, you’ll encounter the Giants of Fimbulwiar World Event. Fight against the mighty Stormbringers in this thrilling event. Defeating them marks the completion of this Mystery and adds another layer of accomplishment to your progress in Jotunheim.
The Puppeteer
Southwest of Skrymir’s Mitten, you’ll find the elusive Puppeteer World Event. Begin by speaking with a woman to initiate the quest line. Follow her instructions to find a barricaded door by the lakeside. Smash through the barricade and circle around to the opposite side of the door. Slowly approach as mysterious magic skulls materialize, revealing a man inside the house. He appears to be asleep, leaving you to decide his fate. After making your decision, return to the woman to conclude the event.
With these eight Mysteries Collectibles completed, your Jotunheim adventure nears its end. The challenges are as rewarding as they are diverse, offering a mix of combat, puzzles, and exploration. By following this comprehensive guide, you’ll fully immerse yourself in the mythical tapestry of Jotunheim and emerge with both experience and mastery in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Continue your conquest, knowing you’ve uncovered every secret this frozen realm has to offer.
