The Fieldwork quest “A Nun in Trouble” begins after you meet Gina on the balcony during the Adventure Story “The Stolen Cat Mummy.” Gina agrees to trade information if it helps her find her missing sister. This quest involves finding twelve notes, and this guide will help you locate them all. Completing the “A Nun in Trouble” quest will reward you with 350 Adventure Points.
Talk to Gina in the Sistine Chapel
Gina is in the Sistine Chapel, located in the south of Vatican City. When you enter the chapel, you’ll find her sitting on one of the benches. Approach her and interact to start the cutscene.
Note 1 – Mother-in-Law’s Letter
After the cutscene, check the floor in front of the confessional to find the Mother-in-Law’s Letter.
Follow Gina into the Museum
The entrance to the museum is in the restricted area in the main courtyard. If you have a Blackshirt Uniform disguise, you can easily just walk past the fascists. You can find it during the Underground Boxing Ring Discovery Quest.
She will open a window for Indiana Jones in the top right corner of the museum wing.
Try the locked door, and she’ll pick it for you. After that, head through the museum until you reach the storage room.
Search for Clues
The museum’s stockroom contains five notes.
Note 2 – Handprint
Locate the handprint on the stockroom wall and take a photo.

Notes 3 & 4 – Gina’s Note & Piece of Cloth
Two documents are located just below the bloody handprint.
Note Description:
“Message in Italian with instructions to Gina’s contact.”
Cloth Description:
“Cloth that seems to have been ripped from a Blackshirt’s uniform.”
Note 5 – Identification Card
Find a card on the floor.
Card Description:
“Italian identification papers issued to a nun.”
Note 6 – Castello Photograph
Gina will show a photo of Indiana during the Castello infiltration.
Photo Description:
“Taken during the infiltration of the Castello.”
Continue the Search
Head downstairs to the next room to continue with the search.
Note 7 – Footprints
At the bottom of the stairs, there is some white paint and some footprints on the floor. Take a picture.

Note 8 – Blood
Go into the next room and take a photo of the blood on the floor.

Gina will notice something shiny in the pool of blood—it’s a Gold Ring. Pick it up to trigger a cutscene. After the cutscene, prepare to defeat the fascists.
Note 9 – Gold Ring
The Gold Ring is the ninth note.
Ring Description:
“A ring belonging to Giuliana found in the basement of the Vatican Museums.”
Go to Borgia Tower
Exit the room through the same door the fascists used to enter. Head to Borgia Tower, where Gina is waiting just outside the door.
Enter the tower, defeat the enemies, and begin climbing.
Note 10 – Tower Card
At the top of the first ladder, turn left to find the Tower Card.

Head up the stairs to find a door blocked from the other side. Use Indy’s whip to swing across to the other side. There’s a locked door that needs Giuliana’s key. This door is important for the “A Remedy for All” Discovery Quest and the “Father and Son” Mystery Quest. Since Indy doesn’t have the key yet, climb the scaffolding to the next floor. From there, you can access the top of the barricaded door. Luckily, there’s a hole in the floor—drop down through it to open the door.
On the next level, defeat the group of enemies and keep climbing the tower until you reach a locked door that triggers a cutscene. After the cutscene, fight the enemy. Before freeing Giuliana, take a moment to search the room for another clue.
Note 11 – Interrogation Document
A note sits on a chair in the corner of the room where Giuliana is being interrogated.

Note 12 – Giuliana’s Information
Once you free Guiliana, she will provide Indy with important information and her key.
Information Description:
“Vatican document authorizing a surveillance operation.”
This will conclude the “A Nun in Trouble” Fieldwork Quest.
Before leaving, grab the pickaxe in the corner of the interrogation room and smash the brick wall in the same room. Behind it, you’ll find a Secret Room where you can take a photo for the Field Notes Discoveries Quest.
