Starting the Quest

Meeting the Witch of Wisdom is part of the “Black and White” Main Quest storyline, where you have to find the Witch of Wisdom. She then has the request to cleanse four sanctums:
-> Sanctum of Absolution
-> Sanctum of Temperance
-> Sanctum of Penitence
-> Sanctum of Benediction

The Witch of Wisdom is part of the Hernand: Witches Quest Section.

“They say witches live in hidden locations throughout Pywel.”

Liberate the Sanctum of Absolution

Description
“A place said to be imbued with spiritual power. It is known to have been created by someone in the post to restore the world and its providence, yet its power is so great that Antumbra revere it as sacred ground. The Second Edict declares: “Believe that only by accepting death within the embrace of a deacon may irreverence be absolved.”

The Sanctum of Absolution is high up in the southwestern mountains, Mountain of Frozen Souls, of Crimson Desert, south of Scholastone Institute. Defeat the Antumbra Order and liberate the place first. Part of this is also defeating the Boss: Antumbra’s Sword.

Cleanse the Sanctum of Absolution

After the liberation, the Sanctum of Absolution has to be cleansed. The Sanctum, four pillars, and the two parts you need to restore them are visible on the minimap with specific symbols. So keep your eye on it while exploring.

After defeating Antumbra’s Sword, enter the building through a corridor with traps. There is a pile of jars at the end. Destroy them to reveal one of the missing cubes for the sanctum. Use Axiom Force and store it in the Kuku Pot.

The Sanctum of Absolution is at the back, surrounded by four pillars. One of them is missing the top.

The missing piece is in the same area as the fire trap. There is a room next to the trap, where the top of the tower floats. Use Axiom Force on the top piece and store it in the Kuku Pot. Also in this room with the fire trap is a wooden door. First, use Force Palm on it to destroy one part of the barriers. Then, crouch through into the room behind it to find a chest.

Go to the Sanctum at the back of the building and discard the cube and the top of the tower (Sanctum of Absolution Fusion Reactor Cores) from the Kuku Pot. Then place them into their slots. Lock them in with a Force Palm. You need to climb to the top of the tower piece and use Jump-Force Palm to lock it in. This will restore the Sanctum of Absolution.

How to Reach the Treasure Chest at Sanctum of Absolution

There is a Treasure Chest locked behind bars just above the Sanctum of Absolution cube in the corridor. In the screenshot below, it is in the alcove to the left.

Exit the building and climb up one level to find this flap. You will see that it is a bit unusual since it has hinges at the bottom. Climb on top of this flap. Then use Axiom Force on the wall, followed by a Force Current.

The wall will flip, taking you straight to the treasure chest. Light the stone lantern to lower the iron bars.
