Oliver’s Request is a Greymane faction commission in Crimson Desert, unlocked after completing A Rumor at the Inksworth Bindery. Oliver, Howling Hill’s Dyer, wants to craft a fabric infused with both color and fragrance – and asks you to bring him a strongly scented herb.
This walkthrough covers how to talk to Oliver at his shop in the west of Howling Hill, where to find 3 Rosemaries in the southwestern Hernand Highlands, and how to hand them over to complete the quest. The reward is 3x Inventory Expansion, and the Dye Shop opens for business at Howling Hill.

Quest description:
“Oliver wanted to create a special fabric infused not only with color but also with fragrance, and asked for a strongly scented herb.”
Talk to Oliver
Oliver is Howling Hill’s Dyer. His shop is in the west of Howling Hill, near the farm. On the map, you can see a dying pot symbol at his location.
Oliver manages the camp’s dyes. A true marvel of color, he breathes new life into cloth and leather, ensuring anything touched by his hands is reborn anew.
Get 3 Rosemaries
Oliver is sending you out to collect 3 Rosemaries. If you have them already in your inventory, you will go straight to the Hand Over part. If not, the quest marker shows a rosemary location in the southwest of Howling Hill, in the western parts of Hernand Highlands.
You can always collect more for the farm.
Hand Over the Rosemaries
Return to Oliver and hand over the Rosemaries. This will complete Oliver’s request, and the Dye Shop is ready for business.
