Gerald’s Request is a short side quest in Crimson Desert that becomes available after you complete A Rumor in the Calphade Gate. Gerald wants to fry eggs on a shield and asks you to bring him five.

Starting the Quest
Complete A Rumor in the Calphade Gate to find Gerald together with Joseph, Lars, and Vernon.
Quest description:
“Gerald devised a way to fry eggs on a shield and asked for some eggs.”
Get 5 Eggs
Gerald needs five eggs. The easiest way to get eggs is to raise chickens at the Ranch. This will generate chicken egg output that will end up in the Private Storage chest in the main tent. If you have that, you can save yourself a trip to the quest marker.
Gerald is sending you to Hernand Farmhouse, on the other side of the road from the Springtide Mill. I was surprised to see “Egg Boxes” on the floor that you can just take without stealing them. I assumed having to buy them from a stranger.
Pick up all three egg boxes to reach the amount of five eggs.
Hand Over the Eggs
Return to Gerald and hand over the eggs.
