Chapter 2: Beneath the Surface Walkthrough – Judgment

1 – Head to the Second Crime Scene.

Mission Text:
“We need to learn more about the Mole, but he’s practically invisible. Maybe I’ll find some clues at a previous crime scene…”

Navigate to the marked location on the map. Upon arrival, you’ll enter Active Search Mode. Examine the area where the corpse was discovered and carefully inspect the surrounding garbage.

There appears to be something shiny next to the garbage bag. Please investigate, then stop the investigation.

After the cutscene and the masked man chase, you get a chat message from Kaito.

2 – Speak with Genda / Meet Dr. Moroboshi

Mission Text:
“What is the deal with those masked robbers? Eh, forget it. I should go check in with Genda-sensei.”

Descend from the roof and exit the alley. Upon leaving, a cutscene will play, showing a man in distress. Your mission will then update to: “Meet Dr. Moroboshi in the Sewer.” Follow the marked location on your map and inspect the manhole to enter the sewers. Once inside, locate Dr. Moroboshi and tell him, “Kondo is calling for you.”

After the cutscene, make your way to Genda Law Office and speak with Genda. During your conversation, Saori will assign you your first case: “Infidelity Investigation.” Once you’ve received the case, talk to Genda again before heading back to Yagami’s office. You’ll find the client waiting just outside the office door.

3 – Side Case: The Darkest Place

Mission Text:
“I’ll stake out Heavy Coffee on Taihei Boulevard until Taguchi-san’s husband shows up.”

Make your way to the marked location on the map to trigger a cutscene where you wait for the husband to appear. Once he arrives, follow him discreetly as he makes his way to meet his lover. The two will head to a hotel, where your task is to capture a photo of them entering. Position yourself near the vending machines, raise your camera, and zoom in fully to take the shot.

Follow the woman and return to the office. After the cutscene, leave the office to face Kasai in a fight.

4 – Head to Millennium Tower / Drone Racing

Make your way to the marked location on the map. Upon arrival, a cutscene will trigger, introducing you to the world of drone racing and its upgrades. Shortly after, you’ll receive a call from Kaito.

5 – Meet Kaito at Koi Bride

Mission Text:
“Meeting up at a fish pond? What kind of officer is Ayabe, anyway?”

Head to the marked location on the map and speak with Kaito. Confront and defeat the thugs blocking your path. Proceed downstairs to access the casino, where you can play a few rounds before meeting Ayabe. Afterward, return to Yagami’s office, confront the mysterious attackers, and examine the package left by Ayabe.

6 – Gather Intel at Konban Wife

Mission Text:
“Kunimura was the Mole’s second victim, and he apparently hung out here. But Kaito isn’t making this any easier…”

Go to the marked location on the map. The timing isn’t important, but make sure to select Kanae-Chan as the girl. Once the cutscene finishes, head to the Matsugane Family Office and speak with the boss.

7 – Head to Café Alps to talk to Hamura

Mission Text:
“Hamura wants to meet up. Matsugane-san can’t do anything, so it’s time to take the bull by the horns.”

Navigate to the destination marked on the map.

Step into the Café and find a seat. From there, make your escape from the Matsugane Family. This marks the beginning of Chapter 3: The Stickup.
