The “A Thief’s Promise” Mystery in Gizeh is one of six Mysteries in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. There are two Notes to collect as part of this Mystery. Completing it will reward you with 225 Adventure Points.
A Thief’s Promise – Start
During the “Secret of the Queen Mother” Fieldwork Quest, you can find a note at the Khentkawes dig site in the southern part of the Gizeh map.
1 – Desertion Report
A “Desertion Report” is located at the tent in the northeast of the Khentkawes dig site, near a Medicine Bottle for the “A Remedy for All” Discoveries Quest. The report reveals that Lukas Schwartz, the missing individual, was last seen in the desert west of the Khentkawes dig site.
Description
“Nazi document concerning a missing soldier.”
Find the Missing Nazi
The report says Lukas Schwartz was last seen near the west side of the Khentkawes dig site, so that’s the logical place to check. However, it’s on the edge of the game map, and Indiana isn’t eager to walk too far in the heat.
Just west of the Khentkawes dig site and above the Water Pumping Station, there’s a square pit you can enter at this spot:
Go to the end of the corridor on the left and use a nearby hammer to break the wall. This will take you to a tomb.
2 – Dead Nazi’s Note
At the end of the tomb, you’ll find a dead Nazi with a note. The note includes a cipher for something important.
Description
“Final words written by an immured Nazi.”
What Does This Code Do?
North of the Khentkawes Dig Site, you’ll find a camp. In the main building, there’s a locked room, but you can get inside by climbing through the open window at the back. Inside, you’ll find a lockbox and two mystery notes, including the Numeral Basics Field Note. The lockbox code is 3262. It contains one of the Ancient Relics from the “Riddles of the Ancients” Discoveries Quest.
