Strongboxes in the Ogouchi Buffer Zone

1 – Southeastern Corner of the Map

In the southeastern corner of the map is a Strongbox hidden in high grass.

2 – Upstream East

East of the Upstream campsite is a locked shipping container guarded by an Elite and a golem. Defeat the enemies, then you can open the container.

3 – Abandoned Village

Just by the entrance of the “Search the Village for Clues” Marker in the Abandoned Village.

4 – Abandoned Village: Red Key Door

In the Abandoned Village, close to the Golem Emma has to talk to, is a locked door that requires a red key. You will receive it from the Gatekeeper at Subcity 03. Keep following the story to find the Nushi’s Lair and you will receive the key to this door.

5 – Cliffside Village: Code-Locked Strongbox

There is an Elite Golem at the Cliffside Village in the southwest of the map. Defeat it to get the code for the locked strongbox inside the tent.

6 – Western River Cave

The river in the Ogouchi Buffer Zone goes far to the west. Here is a cave on the northern side of the river with a strongbox.

7 – Center of the Map, North of the River

North of the Abandoned Village, close to the “Search for the subcity entrance” quest marker. It’s below the northern end of the broken bridge. To open it you need to tap your buttons as quickly as you can in the order shown: up-down-left-down-up.

8 – Locked Building East of Village by the Bridge

There is a strongbox inside a locked building with golems waiting outside that wake up when you come close. To open the strongbox, climb to the top of the house and drop down through the hole. I assume the exit door opens with the Yellow Key.

9 – Disposal Site Code Strongbox

There is a named location called Disposal Site northeast of the Abandoned Village. Defeat the Elite Golem and his minions here to get the code for the locked Strongbox in the Disposal Site Cave.

10 – Water Tank Towers

South of the river, east of the Abandoned Village, are a couple of towers with water tanks at the top. Here is also a strongbox.

11 – Blue Key Door Strongbox

East of the River Fork campsite is a warehouse. Next to it is a locked door that can only be opened with the blue key. Follow the story quest to receive it, then return to open the door to loot the strongbox behind it.

12 – Tower Eastern Map Border

There is a tall tower at the eastern map border near the river fork. Climb it using the platforms attached to it. The strongbox is at the top.

13 – Northeast of Quarry Path Campsite

Northeast of the Quarry Path campsite is a wrecked house with no entrance. Jump inside and head down the stairs to find a Strongbox.

14 – Subcity 02 Container

There is a shipping container at Subcity 02. Enter through the Subcity 02 Entrance east of this location.

15 – Subcity 02 Backroom

At the back of Subcity 02 are two patrolling Malefact Deer. Defeat them and a locked door opens, leading to this strongbox and a document.

16 – Northernmost Elite Strongbox Code

At the northernmost border of the map is a cave with a strongbox guarded by an Elite Golem.

17 – Cliff-Facing Tower Campsite

Along the path to the north, by the northern center lake is a platform with this strongbox.

18 – Subcity 03 Entrance

There is a shipping container near the Subcity 03 Entrance in the north of the map with a strongbox.

19 – Subcity 03 East

In the east of the Subcity 03 entrance is a tower with a strongbox at its base.

20 – Subcity 03 East Container

South of the previous strongbox is a shipping container guarded by golems. This box is inside.

There is a strongbox at the top level, on a platform in the area where Emma has to defeat 6 Golems.
