Terra Flora Secret Zone Walkthrough – Sparks of Hope

The Entrance

You can buy the Efflorescent Key in the Shop. It costs 12 Planet Coins. You get them by doing Side Quests.

The colourful door to the Terra Flora secret zone is right behind the Everbloom Tree entrance.

How to Solve the Secret Zone

This secret zone puzzle has a lot of WAVE blocks – those big square blocks that you can move with your purple ZR ability. If you move them in the wrong order, it could be that you locked yourself in a situation that you can’t get out. The only way to escape in this case, is Fast Travel and start again. Some WAVE blocks can’t be recovered once they’re down and you’re up there somewhere…

Let’s start then… Climb down the ladder in front of you and go to the big WAVE block that is in front of the Spark. Lower it with your purple ZR ability. Then cross over using the now lowered WAVE block, to the other side and down the ladder.

From the second screenshot position above, move the WAVE block with the ladder to the left. There is a triangle pressure plate behind it. Then, cross the purple bridge on the right side.

Lower the big WAVE block at the end of the purple bridge with your ZR ability. Behind it is a box that we’ll need for two pressure plates. Push it over the edge, so it lands one layer down. We’ll bring it up again…

Go back over the same purple bridge you came from, walk past the WAVE block with the ladder and cross the purple bridge on the other side.

Note: around the corner in the room with the puzzle pieces floor is a big purple tile – a bridge stabiliser – on the purple wall. We’ll need that later. But for now, walk past it and climb down the ladder on the other side.

Down on this level, you can now reach the box that you just pushed down the edge before and pull it all the way on top of the WAVE block at the corner near the ladder you just came down.

Here comes the critical part: You now have to use the ZR ability on this WAVE block to send it down. BUT YOU HAVE TO STAND ON THE SIDE WHERE THE LADDERS ARE WHEN YOU DO IT. Otherwise you have to start again. Alright, go ahead. Stand on the side of the ladders and use the WAVE ability on the block where the box is on. The WAVE block is gliding down and you can take the other ladder down.

From down there, go around the corner, where you can move up another WAVE block with ZR so you can get through to the box. It is standing next to a barrier with a square, green key behind it. This barrier will go down in a bit. Note: You can see the pressure plate you now have to take the box in Screenshot 1 on the right side.

Pull the box now all the way to the back, where the pressure plate is. The barrier drops and you can now reach the square, green key.

Important: We now have to take both up again at the same time. The key and the box. We send them up up on the same elevator corner WAVE block the box came down with. Pick up the green key and drop it on the WAVE block. Leave some room for the box. Since we don’t need the open barrier anymore, we can pull the box back on top of the WAVE block. Both, the key and the box are now on the same WAVE block.

It’s time to send up the elevator WAVE block with the ZR ability. Go back the same way you came and meet the key and the box by climbing up the ladder.

Look down the path of the box now. There is another WAVE block in the way. Lower it down. Now move the box and the green, square key on top of it.

Time to climb down the ladder one last time to send this second WAVE block with our lovely box and key up.

Climb up both ladders now. So that you are on the same level as the box and the key. Nearby is a WAVE block. Move this one up, too.

You should notice that there is a destabilised purple bridge next to the box and the key now. You can move boxes over purple bridges! Carry the green key to safety now. I consider the area next to the purple stabiliser tile – that is on the same floor – as safe!

Time to make the other purple bridges stable now! Use the ZR ability on the stabiliser tile on the wall. Go back to the box and move it over the now stable purple bridge on top of the other WAVE block.

Go back and use the bridge stabiliser again. Now you can push the box onto the triangle pressure plate!

This will drop the barrier for the square key device. Now we need to get the key up there! Pick it up where you dropped it in a safe place and carry it to the last WAVE block that we used to transport the box. Drop it on top of it.

Use the old faithful ladder down again. On this lower level, use ZR on the first WAVE block so you can reach the second WAVE block with the key on top. Use ZR on this WAVE block and send it up! The key is now on the same level as the device for it.

Climb up the ladder the last time. Up on the next level, climb up the WAVE block that has a ladder and lower the WAVE block next to the Spark.

Place the key into the device. Then, go down and use the bridge stabiliser again.

Go down and move the WAVE block next to the Spark back up. Then, move the WAVE block with the ladder aside so you get out of there!

Finally the last bit: Move the ladder WAVE block back to the purple ramp. Now climb up the ladder, go up the purple ramp and talk to the Spark!
