Styx has collected the last two Quartz Stones in Quartz and Consequences, and is now returning to the Akanash Ruins to where it all started.

Knowing how to cast off the Flux, Styx is left with only one option: return to where it began and confront what awaits.

You will land somewhere unknown – so the balloons are not an option. Would have been too easy, I guess. I started with the Interceptor Catalyst – turn right at the start point.

Glide down to a little “island” with an exploding mushrooms and goblins. From here you can jump across and use the crystal walls to jump onto the floating closed metal gate. Dash through it and continue climbing the crystal walls at the other side.

At the end of the crystal, you can climb into the ruins, where Styx will be shot by ballistas from two Zeppelins ahead. Unfortunately, this is also a bug-infested exploding mushroom area with a hint of nasty goblins.

I decided to cross over to the right. I dealt with the goblins and cross over to the other side, where I could dash through a metal gate.

Dash through the gate, walk past the one bug to a ruined staircase – still in cover due to the ballista. Here, use Amber Vision to find the rope hanging down below. Use it to advance. – Upstairs with the eggs is not an option.

Climb this rope to the top and use the cracks in the wall to reach the top of this broken structure.

Here you will find a bug infested labyrinth. Obviously, you can’t climb the small walls to avoid the bugs without being shot at. So, “best” option is to sneak past the bugs. Stay on the right side. There are a couple of alcoves you can use to avoid the bugs. Using the ramp at the end looks tempting, and it is doable if you glide over invisible – which I did in the end. You will land by a grapple point just above of the catalyst. I also sabotaged the ballista here.

From the Interceptor, you can glide down towards the next catalyst. All the places with the big metal arrows in the ground are a no-go zone. There is a nearby Zeppelin. Take care of its ballista to make your life easier later.

Drop down to the Belfry roof. Hang down on the beam, then jump onto the rope in the roof and use the crystal wall to climb down. You can now reach the cracks in the walls to climb further down.

Climb down and you can see the Dark Elf area below the embassy. I dropped down to the lonely bug by the moss to get a breather.

I then hid in a barrel to avoid the goblin before I went for the crystal wall. At the top, you can cross over to the left to reach the higher level.

The cranes are gone, but there is a crystal wall you can climb to reach the catalyst in the embassy. My goal was to approach from the back.

From the back, the approach is also easier. Notice there is a bag of sand. Use it to distract the guards. I was waiting for the right moment and went for the wall.

Sneak past the first room to the area with the catalyst and the ballista. Hide in the area above, using the crystal walls.

The Ransacked Library is at the far end. From the top of the Broken Belfry Catalyst, you can glide over to the former Dark Elf Zeppelin docking area.

The approach can be a bit difficult now. You will have to glide over towards the Ransacked Library. Stay low and look for grapple points. If you have sabotaged the ballista the the belfry Zeppelin, your life will be easier – you only have to avoid one ballista.

I stayed to the right – I didn’t sabotage the Belfry ballista – and landed on a lower platform. I decided to stay low, used the glider to reach the ruins to the left, where I dropped down again to find a grapple to the left and an ramp towards the ballista Zeppelin.

You can use the left grapple point by steering towards the wind. Up here is another grapple point you can use to reach the top of this building. From here you can glide over to a crystal wall. By the way: There is an empty Zeppelin on the other side. You can reach it but there’s no one home.

Climb up the crystal wall and enter the building by dashing through the first window. Here, we’re first going for the ballistas. Cross over to the center and work your way up to the right, where you can dash out through the window and look down onto the ballistas.

After destroying the ballistas, you can now glide over to the crystal wall on the right hand side – look for the upward wind to give you a boost. At the top, stay on the ledge.

› camzillasmom.com

From the ledge, dash through the metal barred windows into the library, where the eggs, bugs and one of the corrupted Dark Elves are, blocking the way. Distract it to get through the passage. To the Roach Queen area. Use the crystal walls to sneak past the Inquisition to reach the next, outside crystal wall.

Climb the next wall up to reach a small Zeppelin with the last catalyst. Take care of it and glide down over to the staircase.

Say goodbye to the library and glide down to the Worldtree crystal wall. Climb the wall and dash through the plant barriers to the next ledge. Keep climbing to the next cutscene. Then, defeat Geoffroi.

It all began in the ’80s when I was just 7 years old. Starting with basic arcade games, I soon delved into titles like Loom and Monkey Island by Lucasarts.
